Happy Birthday to my beautiful Milo ๐ฅน๐ซถ
Technically Sam's dog ๐
but after all these years, I think Iโm allowed to claim just a tiny piece of him ๐
This little guy has been such a huge part of my journey as a groomer. He was the dog I took to my very first grooming competition back in 2023, when I really had no idea where any of this was going to take me.
But looking back at photos of him from 2022 to now really got me. Because somewhere between those two photos is basically my entire journey as a groomer.
Milo has been there while Iโve learnt, experimented, made mistakes, competed, won ribbons, lost, tried again, found Asian Fusion, found my style and slowly figured out what grooming means to me.
They've let me grow ridiculous amounts of hair, try new techniques and basically use him as my little creative guinea pig ๐ and somehow this little client dog became one of the most important dogs in my career.
There are dogs that come through your salon and somehow become part of your story, and Milo will forever be one of the biggest parts of mine. I genuinely donโt think my grooming journey would look the same without him.
Thereโs something really special about having one dog consistently for so many years that you can physically see your career developing on him. ๐ฅน
So Happy Birthday Milo ๐ซถ My OG competition boy and the little dog who started so much of this.
And thank you Sam, for trusting me with your boy through every weird haircut, every crazy idea and every โjust trust meโ along the way ๐
Im sure we're still not done yet ๐

P.S. Can we just take a MOMENT for his latest look because ๐ซถ๐๐โจ๏ธ.
