Agnes Banks Equine Clinic Agnes Banks Equine Clinic is an equine veterinary clinic based in the Hawkesbury area in New South Wales, Australia.

The clinic provides ambulatory service, hospital and surgical facilities. We are a multi vet clinic with board certified surgeons, medicine specialist and several of our vets hold advanced qualifications in surgery and dentistry. Most cases are attended at the stable or farm, but the trend toward "haul in" consultation is encouraged. Not only can up to half the visit fee be saved, but appointment

scheduling is facilitated, and extra diagnostic equipment and specialist staff are immediately at hand if required. At least 24 hours advance booking of routine consultations is appreciated. Modern, purpose built facilities and monitoring are available for equine anesthesia and surgery. We are able to run blood tests and perform cytology on site meaning there is a fast turn around with results. We also are associated with a pathology laboratory, which collects specimens three times daily.

Agnes Banks Equine Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy equine hospital alongside a supportive team of veterinarians, nurses, stable staff, and reception staff who are passionate about providing exceptional care to horses.

The role may include:
🐴 Assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures
🐴 Patient care and monitoring
🐴 Hospital and surgical nursing duties
🐴 Laboratory and diagnostic support
🐴 Client communication and customer service
🐴 General nursing and clinic duties

We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has veterinary nursing experience (equine experience preferred but not essential)
✔ Is reliable, organised, and eager to learn
✔ Works well both independently and as part of a team
✔ Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Shares our passion for outstanding patient care

Em, thank you for everything you’ve done for the team and for making our clinic such a bright, happy place. Your hard work, kindness, positivity, and sense of humour have touched so many people, and you’ll be deeply missed by colleagues and clients alike.

Just over a year ago, Dr Lauren Jordan, Dr Hadley Willsallen and Dr Christine Smith took on the challenge of revitalising Agnes Banks Equine Clinic, with a shared vision of providing exceptional veterinary care for horses throughout the Hawkesbury and beyond.
Since then, we've continued to grow, invest in our facilities, expand our services, and build an amazing team dedicated to the health and wellbeing of every horse we see.
