Thank you for this amazing birthday present. Finally had a chance to sit down and look at the stunning photos created by who took me through a photoshoot last week.

Its fair to say my slavic stare needs some more practice...'more sassy'....'more bitch' 🤣

I dont often make it infront of a camera but this was a blast. And in beautiful Kyiv, in the crisp spring sunlight, and no air raid sirens to interrupt! The stars aligned.

The lab test 🐕 and cat scan 🐈 busy at work.

It's been a few days of collecting our final donations for Ukraine, as I pack it, weigh it, unpack it, repack it, adjust, repackage...drag, sweat, curse... you get the idea.

4 stuffed suitcases for Ukrainian animals. 💙

Despite a Virginia tornado warning, delayed departure, destination airport strike, and a drone hitting a national monument (my favorite one - Maidan) right across the road from the flat im staying from wednesday - all seems to be on track.

Now begins the difficult bit - dragging all of that across europe, and via train, into Ukraine.
