COLD WEATHER IS ON THE WAY! ❄️

The temperatures are expected to drop considerably over the next few days, with very cold conditions expected from Monday and the possibility of snow in some areas.

Please remember that our pets can feel the cold too! Here are a few simple ways to keep them safe and comfortable:

Bring pets indoors (even into a garage or outside room) – especially puppies, kittens, small breeds and elderly pets. Provide a warm, dry bed away from cold floors, doors and drafts.

Consider a coat or jersey - particularly when going outside.

Make sure they have access to fresh water – check that outdoor water bowls haven't become excessively cold or even frozen.

Please note that the clinic will be CLOSED tomorrow morning (7 August 2026) until 11:00 as we have been invited to give a presentation at a business breakfast event.

The clinic will open for sales at 11:00 and normal afternoon consultations (16:00 - 18:00) will take place 💚

I had to write to thank you.

On 6 May 2026 you saw Bitsy for her SPCA spay and vacc You stopped the procedure when you noticed she was anemic. Because you looked closer, she got a second chance.

I moved her care to my vet and after 5+ weeks of treatment for autoimmune anemia, she pulled through. She’s now Pickachu and thriving.

We would not be here without you stopping to assess instead of just doing the routine. Thank you for saving her life. We are forever grateful.
