To say I am disappointed by the lengthy delivery time would be an understatement. I ordered these Pawith calming patches and diffusers in June, and they have only just arrived.

Whether the delay was caused by our postal service or the fact that the products travelled all the way from China, I cannot say. Judging by the tracking history, however, the parcel appears to have travelled around the world at least a few times!🙄

Despite the delay, I am keen to try these products with some of the anxious kitties who stay at Catopia and need a little more time and support to settle into their unfamiliar surroundings.

I sincerely hope they prove to be as effective as some of the calming sprays and diffusers currently available locally. I will share my honest feedback once we have had an opportunity to test them properly. 🐾

💔🌈 IN LOVING MEMORY OF SULLY, TALLULAH AND MINX 🌈💔

It is with immense sadness that I share the devastating news that all three of these beautiful furkids from one family have passed away. 🐾

It is difficult to comprehend the pain of losing all three of your beloved furkids within one year, with two passing only a day apart. I can only imagine the heartbreak, shock and anguish their family must be experiencing. 💔

The thought that anyone could intentionally harm a living, breathing and defenceless animal is beyond my understanding. To cause such suffering without remorse or concern for the devastating consequences left behind is an evil I will never be able to comprehend.

Sully, Tallulah and Minx spent Christmas with us at Catopia in December 2024, and each of them left us with very special memories. 🎄🐈

Sully was still a teenager, full of energy and mischief. He was devoted and loving towards his family, but we had to earn his trust. He had the saddest eyes I have ever seen. His antics regularly got on Tallulah’s nerves, and she occasionally needed a little break from her troublesome younger brother! 🩵

Tallulah loved the peace and quiet of being at Catopia without Sully and Minx, until they joined her a week later. She certainly enjoyed that peaceful week to herself! 🤍

Minx was the most relaxed of the three. She was calm, gentle and such a sweetheart. Her bum was always in the air, ready for those bum taps! She loved Tallulah and Sully equally. 💚

They had three very different personalities, but each was deeply loved and belonged to one precious family. 🐾🐾🐾

Sully, Tallulah and Minx will each be framed and placed on our Remembrance Wall at Catopia Cat Boarding They will never be forgotten and will always remain part of the Catopia family. 🖼️🌈



If one of your cats has stayed with us and has since passed away, but you have not yet told us, please get in touch. The very least we can do is honour them on our Remembrance Wall and mourn their passing in our own way. 🕯️

To every family who has entrusted their precious furkids to us, thank you. It has been an honour. When your cats stay at Catopia Cat Boarding, they become part of our family too. Their passing matters to us, and they leave behind memories that remain long after they have gone. 💚🐾

Our deepest condolences go to the family of Sully, Tallulah and Minx. I am so terribly sorry that you have had to endure this unimaginable loss. 💔

Rest peacefully, beautiful babies. 🌈🐾

Together forever. Forever loved. Never forgotten. 🕊️

⛈️ OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT A STORM WE HAD LAST NIGHT! ⛈️

I spent the evening doing rounds again from around 9 pm until 10 pm, checking on everyone and giving cuddles and reassurance wherever they were needed.

My little Grumpypants, Peanut, and I are finally friends! It took one hectic storm for her to allow me to pick her up, cuddle her and reassure her that she was safe. Never in a million years did I think that would happen! 😲

I had to lock the windows to stop Jazzy from going outside because, honestly, why would anyone choose to hang outside during that storm?

Sonic was hiding under the rug, while poor Baby was completely soaked and needed to be towelled dry. That was interesting because she is feral, but thankfully she has no teeth, so it didn’t go too badly. 😂

I made little tents and hiding places for some of the others, giving them somewhere to retreat and at least a sense of protection from the thunder and rain. If I could have brought every cat into the main house with me, I would have, but unfortunately, that simply isn’t possible.

Instead, the lights were dimmed in the cattery and The Villa & Retreat, everything was closed and secured, and I did everything I could to help them feel safe enough to get through the night.

My own cats hate storms too. Some of my sprayers have been trained not to come into the main house, but clearly the storm changed the rules because I had spots of spray to clean up this morning!🤦‍♀️

Most importantly, all our Catopia guests are safe and have forgotten about the storm this morning. Everyone is in good spirits this morning, and I am very relieved to say that we all made it through the night without any problems. 💚

Apparently, there is more rain forecast for today.

I really dislike heavy rain! 🌧️🐾
Well its cool today that’s a blessing for all

🐾 FROM BLANKETS TO CARPET SWATCHES! 😁💚

As the seasons change here at Catopia, so do our decorating trends! 😂🐱

A HUGE thank you to one of our wonderful customers, Dawn, and of course the adorable KaiKai, for thinking of all our kitties and donating carpet swatches! 💚Very zhoosh too!

These are incredibly handy around the cattery, especially as we head into the warmer summer months.🔥☀️🥵

While our fluffy blankets are perfect for keeping little paws cosy during winter❄️, they're simply too warm for summer☀️. The carpet swatches are a fantastic alternative, giving our guests a soft, comfortable surface to snooze on without all that extra warmth.

And let's face it, our feline guests do love a good lounging spot! 😻

It's thoughtful gestures like these that make such a difference to our little cattery.🤩

Thank you, Dawn and KaiKai, for your kindness and generosity. We are so grateful, and our Catopia guests will certainly be putting their new summer furnishings to good use! 😂🐾💚
