This is not a normal pond. This is the MatCrete Sytem by Cemcrete.
It is a system that requires no bricks, no concrete, no plaster and no metal reinforcement.
The magic starts with the Soilcrete which uses your existing soil, mixed with the Cemcrete Soilcrete, stamped and shaped into the pond base. Minimal amounts of water, maximum strength.
Then the Cemlam sheets are draped over and bolted into position. The edge seams are cut to sit flush with the hardened soil and "welded" together using strips of Cemforce and Matcrete to create a solid tub.
Then three layers of Matcrete is applied to the system to not only waterproof the base further but to make it extremely strong.
We worked hand in hand with the great people at Cemcrete to make this system include a bottom drain for Koi Pond purposes. Yet the application of this system is not limited to just Koi Ponds.
The Matcrete system can be used to reseal existing ponds, giants cracks and all.
When applied correctly by our technicians, we are happy to give a 20 year warranty on this system, as it is so strong (yet flexible) we have that level of faith in the product.
