🧬 Nsizwa Boerboels — DNA Testing Journey

In 2020, I started DNA testing my dogs because I wanted to understand my breeding program beyond pedigrees and paperwork. For me, responsible breeding is about knowing as much as possible about the dogs behind the names.

That journey has now become a mission: to DNA test my entire kennel, one dog at a time. 🧬🐾

I want to build a complete genetic picture of the Nsizwa Boerboels breeding program understanding ancestry, breed composition, genetic relationships and, where available, important genetic health information.

It’s a long-term project, and it won’t happen overnight. But dog by dog, test by test, we’re building a stronger foundation for the future of Nsizwa Boerboels.

(Elevation Vaatjie × Elevation Mica)

🖤 THE LINJO NANDI LEGACY CONTINUES

There is a special story behind these two brindle girls.

Both are daughters of Nsizwa Che, a son of Nsizwa Joe Slovo. Joe Slovo is a direct descendant of our foundation female Linjo Nandi, making Nsizwa Che a grandson of Linjo Nandi.

This means both Atisang and Ntsoakana carry the Linjo Nandi bloodline as great-granddaughters.

For Nsizwa Boerboels, this is more than simply producing brindle Boerboels. It is about preserving our own foundation genetics and carrying them forward into the next generation.

From Linjo Nandi → Nsizwa Joe Slovo → Nsizwa Che → Atisang & Ntsoakana.

Two brindle girls.
One important bloodline.
A legacy that continues.
