⚠️ HEAVY RAINS, FLOODING & EXTREME COLD WARNING ⚠️
Over the next few days, severe weather conditions are expected in many areas. Please take action now to protect your animals and help keep them safe.
🐾 Animals must NOT be chained, tied, or confined.
They must be able to move away from rising water, flooding, falling debris, or other dangers.
🏠 If pets must remain outdoors, their shelter is critical:
✅ Waterproof and weatherproof
✅ Free from drafts
✅ Positioned away from prevailing winds
✅ Raised off damp or flooded ground
🐄 For livestock owners:
📍 Move animals to higher ground before flooding occurs
📍 Ensure access to elevated, wind-protected areas
📍 Check fencing and shelters to reduce the risk of injury
❤️ Your care today could save a life tomorrow.
📞 In an emergency, contact your local animal welfare organisation immediately.
