Breeding for function, our Argentenean Mastiffs have high work drive,excellent temperament and conformation. ShaTranj Dogos came into being as an ideal more than 20 years ago. At that point, Dogos weren't available in South Africa and the attention moved to the breeding and showing off the American Pitt Bullterrier. ement for my Pittie companion dog, Brock. We were fortunate enough to walk in on an amazing pup, and so Boesman (Búsan) came into our lives. Today we have four breeding females and four breeding males, representing four widely separated lines. Breeding is done very selectively and solely with the purpose of producing working Dogos, on par with breed standards, as well as our own rigorous selection for conformation, temperament, work drive and character. All our dogs are working dogs...performing as tracking dogs, for wounded or snared game, anti poaching and problem animal control.
