This ginger Tom cat with a battle scarred face of a gangster but the softest sweetest nature has arrived at the clinic over the last few days and seems to be making it his home BUT no cat gets this friendly without someone who loved him so we are hoping we can network this chap back to his people and home. Witzenberg Vets Tulbagh will be placing our African Horse Sickness (AHS) vaccine order shortly. Please contact the practice as soon as possible to book the number of vaccines you will require for this year.

For all our clients and patents that are staying behind in Tulbagh for the long weekend: Please take not of our trading hours. Saturday morning is your only chance for some food or treat shopping. Dr Robyn Hamman is on emergencies throughout the weekend however the clinic will be closed for routine consultations.

We have found amazing homes for all but 2 kittens from the CHAIN Cattery.
These two are chilled and friendly females, about 3months old, so not so little that they get under foot.
They would love their own families so if you were considering adopting a cat please pop in to the Cattery and meet these special two.

Morning all horse owners. Some great news for once to report. SAEF has changed their current rule that requires all competing horses to be vaccinated every 6months against Eq. Flu.

The new rule requires all horses to have received their initial vaccinations of V1 followed by V2 (3-6 weeks later) and V3 ( interval 6months). If this is followed then booster Vaccs only need to be done yearly.

Please note however that if the yearly interval is missed then the entire course must start from V1. So everyone gets to change their diaries and happy competing.
