Our 4 hectares of parkland is secure and well fenced. Dogs are walked at least twice daily and if appropriate, free to run and play under our supervision. Rooms have individual secure gardens with shade so dogs can choose to be inside or out. Piped music plays all day and evening. Trained personnel on hand 24 hours a day.

🎂💦 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NUGGET!

Everybody’s favourite little chatterbox is celebrating! 🥳🐾 We hope your special day has been filled with ALL the extra treats, cuddles, zoomies and, of course… plenty of water to splash in! 😂

If you know Nugget, you KNOW she has something to say. 🤭 She is a certified yapper, professional conversationalist and firm believer that everyone should hear her opinion. And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

She’s also one of our early-bird daycare regulars, often arriving before some of us have even remembered how coffee works. ☕️🤣 Her fluffy face and morning bark have become part of the official Anut morning routine, and we genuinely can’t imagine starting the day without her!

And then there’s the water… 💦👀
Where there’s water, there’s Nugget. And where there’s Nugget, she’s probably already IN IT. Fully submerged. 🌊

Happy birthday, beautiful girl! 🩷 We hope your year ahead is filled with endless adventures, besties, belly rubs, muddy paws and ALL the water your heart desires! 🐶💦🎉 🧜🏻‍♀️

At Anut, it's not just a walk… it’s an adventure. 🌿🐾

Our dam Walks are all about letting dogs be dogs - sniffing every interesting smell, exploring the long grass, racing through the open spaces, splashing in the water, playing with their friends and, of course… getting a little muddy along the way. 💦

It’s exercise for their bodies, enrichment for their brains and a whole lot of fun for their tails. 🐶✨

Because sometimes the best kind of tired comes from a day spent exploring, playing & getting gloriously dirty. 🍃💐

Introducing our handsome boy, Enzo! 🥰

We honestly think Enzo may be one of the fastest-growing pups we’ve ever had the pleasure of watching grow - not just physically, but emotionally too!

When Enzo first joined us at Anut, he was a tiny Ridgeback puppy with VERY big paws and a whole lot of growing to do. It felt like he was getting bigger by the day, and now he’s really starting to show off those gorgeous, handsome adult features. 🥹

But don't let that big-boy look fool you… underneath it all is the softest heart and a boy whose main priorities in life are very simple:

PLAY. PLAY. AND PLAY SOME MORE. 😂🐕

Oh, and lunch.
Never forget lunchtime. 🍗

Of course, growing up and learning how to navigate daycare life comes with its little challenges, but Enzo has slotted into our Anut family so beautifully. He gets along with the big dogs, the little dogs, and everyone in between.

And the Frenchies? They absolutely adore him. 🥹 Gigi and Sissy are especially fond of their big friend and will often seek him out for a play session.

We absolutely love watching Enzo grow from that little, big-pawed puppy into the handsome boy he is becoming. 💙

We’re so lucky to have him as part of the Anut family - and judging by the number of furry friends always looking for him, we think they’re pretty happy about it too! 🐾

Keep growing, Enzo… just maybe slow down a little! 😂💙

…and wondered what on earth they're doing with them! Well, we're finally letting you in on the secret. 👇🏽

Meet the mighty Pet Corrector - our ultimate daycare referee!

It's a little red can that uses compressed air to create a short, sharp hissing sound. The sound is designed to grab a dog's attention and interrupt unwanted behaviour - giving our staff the opportunity to redirect the dog and reward the behaviour we do want. ✅️

It's particularly useful when you've got a whole bunch of dogs together and something needs to be interrupted quickly - whether that's excessive barking, chasing, jumping up or an unwanted interaction.

And before anyone panics… 😂 We do not spray the dogs! The can is directed away from them. They're simply hearing the sound, which acts as an interruption.

So, the next time you spot one of those little red cans in our hands… you’ll know exactly what we're up to! 👀🐾

Are you energetic, reliable, and happiest when surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses? 🐶🩵

Anut Cat & Dog Hotel is looking for a Part-Time Doggy Daycare Handler to join our team!

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves animals and enjoys keeping our furry guests happy, safe and entertained. 🐾

🐕 What you’ll be doing:
• Feeding & medicating our boarding guests
• Supervising dogs during playtime & socialisation
• Taking dogs for walks
• Washing & drying dogs when needed
• Giving our guests plenty of love, attention & care
• Helping ensure every guest is happy, safe & well cared for throughout their stay

✨ What we’re looking for:
• Reliable transport
• Previous animal-care experience is a bonus
• Confidence handling dogs of different breeds, sizes & temperaments
• A genuine love for animals ❤️
• Energetic & physically fit - this is an active, hands-on job!
• Availability to work weekends & public holidays as required

Happy 1st Birthday, Tessa! 🎉🐾💕

Tessa is officially ONE! 🥳 And while she may be a Yorkshire Terrier by size, someone clearly forgot to tell her that she’s supposed to act like one! 😂

This little girl has BIG DOG ENERGY. She absolutely LOVES playing with the big dogs and is completely unbothered by the fact that some of her friends are approximately 4 times her size. 😆

And then there’s her adorable way of greeting new friends… Tessa will dramatically flatten herself against the floor and make herself as tiny as possible, as if she’s trying not to intimidate them. 😂 Tessa, sweetheart… we think your size already had that covered! 🥹

You’ll rarely find her far from her brother Elon. Wherever Elon goes, Tessa is never too far behind! Although, Tessa is definitely the brave and social one of the two, while Elon prefers to keep a watchful eye on his sister’s adventures from a safe distance. 👀😂

And don’t let those cute little jerseys fool you! 🎀 When it’s chilly, Tessa looks every bit the girly girl… but give her some mud, water or a good opportunity to get filthy and she is all there! 😂💦🐾

We hope you have the most wonderful first birthday, Tessa! 🎂💗 Thank you for spending such a special milestone with us and all your furry friends at Anut. We absolutely love having your tiny-but-mighty personality around! 🐶💕

And a BIG thank you for the delicious chocolate cake for the staff to celebrate with you… Tessa might have had the birthday, but we definitely enjoyed the cake! 😂🍰❤️
