Meet Leo 🐾 Two Years and still waiting for his chance.

Leo is a striking small medium (15KG) black and tan gentleman with the kind of soul that stays with you long after you walk away. ❤️

He’s been a resident at our kennels for two years now and is estimated to be around 4 years old. Like many dogs who arrive as adolescents, the shelter world was a big adjustment but through it all, Leo has remained the same at heart a social, affectionate boy who thrives on connection. He especially enjoys the company of friendly female dogs and builds bonds quickly. 🐕

Leo is playful, soft natured, and deeply loving. He adores young children and has a natural understanding of boundaries that makes him a joy to watch around them. When it comes to playtime, fetch speaks directly to his soul throw a ball or toss a rope and you’ll see a spark light up in him. 🪢 🎾

What truly sets Leo apart, though, is the way he draws you in without ever demanding attention. Walk past his camp fence and you’ll feel it his whole body pressed gently against the wire, eyes soft and longing, silently asking for just a moment of love.

After two long years of waiting, Leo deserves to know what it feels like to belong to a family ! 🐾

He was brought to the shelter by a kind member of the public with a broken leg, but thanks to a long journey of care and recovery with the incredible Doc Stephen and his team, Johnny is now fully healed and ready to start his next chapter.

At around 1½ years old and medium in size, Johnny is a friendly, easygoing companion. He gets along well with other dogs, loves people, and has a gentle, loving nature that makes him a joy to be around.

After everything he’s been through, Johnny truly deserves a warm, safe home and a family to call his own.
