Vineyard Dog Agility

22/07/2026

We are pleased to announce our dates for our next agility foundations course to be held in Stellenbosch. With this course, you can be sure to learn the skills to communicate with your dog and teach complex skills. The course will also equip you to do other dog sports including Hoopers (did you know we now have Hoopers classes?) and simply to do more with your dog. Of course, for the ambitious and talented, you can progress onto the sport of agility!

If you want to become part of a knowledgeable and supportive dog community in Stellenbosch, look no further.

Please enquire to sign up. Spots are limited. This will be our last course for 2026!

Thank you to all the Vineyard Dog Agility and South African Dog Agility Association members for your wonderful contributions to this cause. We are super proud and on behalf of all those that supported, want to say our sincere thanks to Help a Paw for the incredible and selfless work that you do for the animals in our community.

Thank you to for this wonderful donation of beds, blankets, leads and food that they donated today at one of the Agility trials. In lieu of enterance fee for the fun event competitors were asked to bring any of their unwanted pet items for the street dogs and many donated food as well. We are going to hand this out as part of our Mandela day celebration - we are really gratefull for all of the support and a lot of the dogs are going to be spoilt, Thank you.

So true!

The thing I’m trying to explain to people in my workshops, in my private clientele, in my membership, and on my podcast is this: a dog is the best friend you could ever have dreamed of. But they can’t be that if you don’t provide for and communicate with them. They need guidance, they need clarity, they need advocacy, and they need freedom. Hold up your end of the bargain and revel in the most magical partnership on earth.

Happening today! Please support Howard’s incredible effort.

🌊 One man. One epic swim. One powerful cause. 🐾

World record swimmer Howard Warrington is taking on the legendary 34km False Bay Crossing - icy waters, unpredictable currents, and all - to help the Cape of Good Hope SPCA turn the tide on animal suffering.

With over 23,000 stray and unwanted animals admitted last year, Howard is swimming to support the SPCA’s goal of 10,000 sterilisations, tackling the problem at its source.

🗓️ Swim date: 6 January 2026
💙 Why: Because preventing suffering takes courage - in the ocean and on land.
