🌧️🐴 The Rebuilding Has Begun 🐴🌧️

After weeks of planning, fundraising, sourcing materials, and overcoming countless challenges, we are excited to say that the rebuilding at Midnight Rain Livery Yard has officially begun.

This weekend marks the start of rebuilding our stable block roof, the first major step in restoring what was lost during the storm. While the journey ahead is still a long one, seeing the first steps being taken fills us with hope and excitement for the future.

We want to thank every single person who has supported us through this difficult time. Whether you donated, shared our fundraiser, sent messages of encouragement, or simply stood by us, your kindness has helped carry us through.

Recovery is not an overnight process, but with determination, hard work, and the incredible support of our community, we are moving forward one step at a time.

Office day at the yard 🐴☕📚

Not every day is spent in the saddle. Some days are spent behind the desk, catching up on paperwork, updating records, planning schedules, ordering feed, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Running a livery yard is so much more than caring for horses – it’s early mornings, late nights, and plenty of admin in between. Every file, note, and plan helps ensure our horses and clients receive the best possible care.

One step at a time, we continue to rebuild, organize, and move forward. The new feed room is taking shape, the paddocks are done, and while there’s still plenty to do, we’re grateful for how far we’ve come.

Here’s to productive office days and the exciting things still ahead for Midnight Rain Livery Yard. 🐎❤️

💔 BACK A BUDDY APPEAL 💔

To our wonderful horse community, friends, family and clients — we need your help.

This past storm caused devastating damage to our yard. Shelters were ripped apart, fencing destroyed and the entire stable block roof was torn away by the extreme winds and rain. Years of hard work, dedication and love for our horses were destroyed in just a few hours.

Our priority right now is keeping every horse safe, warm and cared for while we slowly rebuild. Many of our horses are retired, elderly or rehabilitation horses who rely on us completely. Despite the destruction, they are still being fed, rugged, checked through the night and cared for with everything we have.

Anyone who knows me knows asking for help is not something I do easily, but the damages are overwhelming and rebuilding will take time and significant financial support.

Funds raised will go towards:
• Rebuilding shelters
• Replacing roofing and poles
• Waterproof materials and shade netting


Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us get back on our feet again. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this post would mean the world to us.

We can’t emphasize enough how a well-organized feed room makes all the difference—especially now as we slowly recover from the storm. It’s been a tough journey, but step by step, we’re rebuilding. While we still have a lot to do—like putting up shelters—our paddocks and electric fencing are getting back on track. Thank you all for your continued support and patience as we take it all one step at a time. Together, we’ll get through this! ❤️

As you both venture onto this new journey, I just want you to know how incredibly grateful I am for every single moment shared throughout the years. You were never just clients to me — you became family. Through every high and every storm, you stood by me with loyalty, kindness, laughter, and unwavering support, and I will never forget that.

Watching the bond between you and Storm has been something truly special. The love, patience, and trust between the two of you touched everyone around you. Storm will always hold such a special place in my heart, and so will you, Mia.

Thank you for all the memories, the friendship, the endless support, and for being part of this journey with me. No matter where life takes you next, know that you will always have a place here and in my heart.

Our feed room is finally taking shape and is almost completed 🙌🏻

After everything we’ve been through these past few weeks, seeing progress like this means the world to us. We are rebuilding step by step, one day at a time, and slowly getting back on our feet.

A huge thank you to Spurwing Horse Feeds for donating 4 bags of feed during this incredibly difficult time. After last week’s devastating storm, with our roof literally blown away, a large amount of our feed got completely soaked. It was simply too dangerous in the middle of the storm to try move feed bags — our priority at that moment was the safety of our horses and ourselves.

Spurwing truly came through for us when we needed it most. Their feed is absolutely incredible and despite all the chaos and stress, our horses have not dropped an inch of weight. We are beyond grateful for the support and kindness shown to us.
