❤️ Ruby ❤️
We miss her more than words can ever express.
She was our most precious girl and our hearts shattered into a million pieces when we had to say our final goodbye.
It’s been two months since then and I’m still struggling to write about it. Our stories here are meant to spread smiles and joy, and telling you about Ruby’s last days is the very opposite of that. But that is life, isn’t it? It’s not always easy. And dogs are the magical creatures that help us through the difficult times.
We are so grateful that we could let her live her absolutely best life. She bounced through her days with boundless energy, always ready for the next adventure, chasing fishes at the beach, following every last scent on a trail, ecstatic if she could flush out a flock of birds and wishing she could fly after them!
And despite all her crazy monkey energy, Ruby was the gentlest soul. As long as her humans were close by, life was good. She trusted us to keep her safe from any harm and would follow us to the end of the world.
We never imagined that a horrible cancer would sn**ch her from us. But such is life. We can’t predict it and we can’t change it. All we can do is appreciate every day we get and live it to the max. And Ruby showed us how to do exactly that.
