The start of it all! Beginning from a small saddlery & pet requisite store in Illovo, David & Charlotte Stubbs started accommodating dogs and cats initially from their home stable yard in Woodmead. Waterfall Kennels & Cattery had their first paying guest, a Cocker Spaniel called Treasure board with them over 60 years ago. Relocated in 1997 to Craigavon, Fourways, Waterfall Kennels and Cattery is still family owned and managed and must surely be the oldest serving family owned pet boarding facility in Southern Africa.

Although we have many treasured customers - every so often there are just some truly thankless individuals out there! With this recent Comair debacle we facilitated boarding two dogs at very short notice for new clients at 20H00 on a Sunday night - this without levying an out of hours fee. Very taken aback on receiving a rude message complaining that we bathed the dogs prior to collection without their consent. Really!!!
