UPDATE - Gucci has been surrendered to AWS

‼️ URGENT ‼️

Owner of this beautiful 8 month old male Pitty pup approached us in the township yesterday asking for help as they are leaving for the Transkei.

Our only option is to advertise and hope for a decent pitbull lover to offer help, or we will have to take the owner and have them surrender him to AWS which is already battling with an overload of animals.

There will be an adoption fee to cover his sterilisation and vaccination.

💔 A PLEA FOR BUKS & VLOOI 💔

Buks (male, Jack Russell–Dachshund type, mature) and Vlooi (female Jack Russell, old) have lost everything. Their owner became gravely ill, and for months the neighbours tried—really tried—to keep them going with food and kindness.

But eventually… they landed here,
Confused and heartbroken.

Vlooi is old, so tired, and so defeated that she hardly lifts her head when we walk past. She just curls into herself, wishing for a soft spot in a corner of a home. A human. Anything familiar.

Buks still has a lot of life left in him, but he refuses to leave Vlooi’s side. Separating them now would be cruel.

We are begging for someone to help them.
Not tomorrow. Not “when things settle down.”

Both dogs are sterilized.

Vlooi should not be spending her final days in a rainy, noisy shelter.
