It may look harmless, but the Sago Palm is highly toxic to both cats and dogs.

All parts of the plant are poisonous if eaten, with the seeds being particularly toxic. Ingestion can cause vomiting, diarrhoea and weakness, and severe cases can result in liver failure.

🚨 If you suspect your pet has chewed or eaten any part of a Sago Palm, contact our veterinary practice immediately.
