Whoopy! Pawsome news to share!
Thank you kindly, Emirates!
D A L L A S F O R T W O R T H
Hello Agents, Partners & Clients,
We have exciting news to share! As of today, Emirates is officially open at DFW to receive dogs from high-risk rabies countries via CARGO!
Since opening our doors on September 1st, DFW Pet Lounge & Quarantine, the first and only CDC-Registered Animal Care Facility in Texas, has been working closely with the airlines and the CDC to facilitate communication and ensure compliance so carriers can confidently pivot their pet shipments to DFW.
That work is paying off! To date, two major carriers are approving cargo shipments into DFW:
✈️ British Airways
✈️ Emirates (NEW as of today!)
And more to come...
It will take a bit longer for excess baggage and in-cabin options. We will continue to keep you updated.
For families relocating to Texas and the surrounding region, this means a closer, more convenient gateway for bringing their dogs home, with a CDC-registered facility ready to receive them right here at DFW.
Have an upcoming move or questions about routing a dog through DFW? We'd love to hear from you. We look forward to working with you!
Warm regards,
Jen & Jelena
