BRUTUS IS LOOKING FOR A RETIREMENT HOME

My name is Brutus. My owner sadly passed away and now I have nowhere to go.
I had a little doggy friend who found a new home, so I am used to other dogs, but I have never been exposed to cats.
I am a soft and gentle boy who only wants a new family who will love me.
I am 8 yrs old and castrated.

Please contact Reinette on 083 7676 345 if you can be my new family.
I am in Centurion.

Thank you
With love from Brutus❤

Huge congratulations to Montego Pet Nutrition and Petshop Science for breaking a Guinness World Records title for the most pet food ever donated!

And on 12 May, Pretoria Dog Rescue was so privileged to be among the beneficiaries of this incredible donation!

A heartfelt thank you to BarkingMad, and especially Tracy. You had the enormous task to distribute 400kg each to 35 rescue shelters! Thank you for inviting us to collect 20 x 20kg bags of Monty&Me. We sincerely appreciate this amazing donation.
We are extremely grateful to Montego Pet Nutrition and Petshop Science for this food. it means so much to us!

My name is Lily. I am two years old. My owners moved, now I am looking for a new forever home, or someone willing to foster me in the meantime, please.
I am sterilised, love people and going for jogs. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy playing with them, but unfortunately not with cats.
I am medium-sized and fully house-trained.
I am in Pretoria.
If someone can give me a chance, please. I will be an awesome companion.

Please contact Reinette on 083 7676 345.
Thank you.
With love, from Lily.

UPDATE:
A warm "THANK YOU!" from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who donated towards Kleintjie's treatment. Fortunately, he didn't need another operation!
Words cannot express our gratitude towards the amazing veterinarians and staff of Olympus 24hour Animal Hospital for their hard work and their loving care for Kleintjie. After 3 weeks in hospital he finally went to his new foster home today!

KLEINTJIE NEEDS HELP PLEASE
Kleintjie survived what no dog should. Now we need your help to bring him home.

Hi, I’m Kleintjie. I’m small, but I’ve been through a lot.

A few months ago, I was lost on the street. I was scared, alone, and just trying to survive. Then a big dog found and attacked me. I thought that was it for me.

But I survived.

I healed from those wounds, and for a moment I thought maybe things would be okay. They weren’t.

On May 5th, I was rushed to Olympus 24 Hour Animal Hospital & Specialist Referral Center. I was so sick. My belly was swollen and painful. The vets found that my bladder and urethra were completely blocked with stones, so many that I couldn’t p*e. If they didn’t act immediately, my bladder would burst and I would die.

I had to go through 2 extremely delicate surgeries, done by a specialist. I was so weak after that I wouldn’t eat on my own. The nurses had to force feed me, sitting with me, talking to me, making sure I didn’t give up.

My bladder had been stretched so badly from being blocked for so long that it forgot how to work. For many days, the vets had to retrain it, teaching it to expand and contract again so I could finally p*e on my own. It was slow, painful, and I hated it. But I fought, every single day.

And I won… or so we thought.

I have had a setback and now need another specialist surgery. I know my vet bill is already more than R12,000, but please don't give up on me!
Kleintjie is still fighting, and we’re not giving up on him.

I am still at Olympus 24 Hour Animal Hospital & Specialist Referral Center, and every day here adds to the bill. We urgently need to raise money for this extra operation and his hospital fees. The hospital has given us rescue rates, but we can’t discharge him until it’s paid.

I’ve survived being lost, being attacked, and having my life hang by a thread. I’ve fought so hard to get to this point.

All I need now is for kind people to help me take the last step, out of the hospital, and into a safe, warm place where I can finally rest and heal.

Please, will you help me get home?

Even R50, R100, or R200 helps. If you can’t donate, please share my story. The more people who see it, the faster I can get the surgery I need and leave this hospital cage.

Thank you for giving me a second chance. I’m not done fighting, and with your help, I won’t have to.

With love,
Kleintjie
and the Pretoria Dog Rescue team who refuse to give up on him.

We are urgently looking for the owners of this doggy.

This boy was taken very far out of his area and his owners might not even think of checking at Valley Farm. He might be on his way to Waltloo spca which is even further from home.
