ABOUT MR LATINO

Mr Latino is a true schoolmaster with a wealth of experience and a lovely temperament. He has spent the past two years working successfully in a private riding school, where he has taught riders of various levels, from lead rein and beginner riders through to advanced lessons.

EXPERIENCE

* Successfully competed in graded show jumping up to 1.20m
* Successfully jumped 1.30m at home in his younger years
* Has since retired from jumping following an SI injury sustained with his previous owner
* Currently enjoys dressage and trail riding
* Experienced with lead rein, lunging and advanced lessons
* Suitable for beginner through to advanced riders
* Boxes and travels well

SI INJURY

Mr Latino sustained an SI injury with his previous owner. The injury was never surgically operated on.

We were advised that the injury was not necessarily expected to prevent him from jumping, but we have chosen not to take that risk and would prefer him to go to a home where he can enjoy dressage, trail riding and general riding rather than returning to jumping.

He completed rehabilitation and has remained sound with us.

The new owner may wish to discuss Pentosan or a similar supportive programme with their veterinarian.

Although he is not being sold as a jumping horse, he can become very excited and enthusiastic even with pole work or tiny jumps, so this is something his new owner should be aware of.

SHOW EXPERIENCE

Mr Latino has not attended a show in over 3 years. Should his new owner wish to take him to shows, he may be quite excitable at his first outings after such a long break.

IDEAL HOME

We feel Mr Latino would be best suited to a dressage, trail riding or general riding home where his experience can be appreciated without putting unnecessary strain on his SI.

He has successfully worked as a schoolmaster and has the experience to teach riders from beginner level through to advanced riding.

REASON FOR SALE
Owner is downscaling as they own multiple horses

SOLD

Juistzoo Troy
A beautiful Warmblood x Friesian gelding with stunning movement, a kind temperament, and plenty of potential.

Breed: Warmblood x Friesian
Sire: Juistzoo Acres Wild Titan
Dam: Juistzoo Siskia
Height: 15.3hh
Age: 15 years (DOB: 27/11/2011)
Gender: Gelding
Colour: Black Tobiano
Vaccinations/Teeth/Farrier: Up to date
Passport: Yes
Shoeing: Barefoot
Stabling: Currently stabled at night but has happily lived out previously.

Troy is a sweet-natured gelding with exceptional ground manners who was restarted from scratch after coming from a difficult background. He is green under saddle and is still being produced, making him best suited to an experienced adult or junior rider. He is not suitable for beginners.

He stands quietly for the farrier, groom, physio, and dentist, is barefoot with regular 6-week trims, and has no history of previous injuries. He has also started loading into a horsebox and continues to gain confidence.

Troy has recently begun working into a soft outline and is developing his canter nicely. With his beautiful movement and willing attitude, he has plenty of potential for someone looking to continue his education and enjoy producing a rewarding horse.

Originally bought in Limpopo, Troy is being sold through no fault of his own. His owner is a beginner and requires a quieter, more established horse.
