As we come to the end of another year, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to every supporter, volunteer, partner, and kind soul who has stood alongside WanderVet β€” whether through support, encouragement, or simply believing in the work we do.

Because of you, animals received care, communities gained knowledge, and compassion reached places where it was needed most.

We wish all our supporters β€” present and future β€” a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, hopeful New Year.

With gratitude,

🌿 Back to the Wild! 🌿

This beautiful female duiker was brought to us by Delia from Asher’s Farm Sanctuary after suffering dog bite wounds. With prompt care, gentle handling, and lots of rest, she made an excellent recovery! πŸ’š

Today, she was released back into her natural environment β€” free once again where she belongs. 🦌✨

A huge thank you to Delia and the team at Asher’s Farm Sanctuary for their compassion and swift action in getting her the help she needed. πŸ’•

🐾 Limpopo Outreach Update – β€œOne for the books!”

Our third outreach in this community was nothing short of incredible.

✨ More pet owners are now stepping forward to vaccinate and sterilise their dogs.
✨ Fewer sick animals were seen compared to before.
✨ Dogs that were once nameless or numbered are now cherished family members.
✨ Even donkeys and cattle received care – with requests for a dedicated donkey outreach in the near future!

What touched us most was the pride of owners presenting their happy, healthier dogs. It’s a visible reminder that veterinary care + education = lasting change.

πŸ’› From sunrise to sunset, every moment was about building healthier animals, stronger communities, and brighter futures.

✨ What a day we had on Tuesday! ✨

Our third outreach in this community was truly one for the books! πŸΎπŸ’™

This time, we saw a huge shift – more owners than ever before brought their dogs for sterilisations and vaccinations, and for the first time, we had far fewer sick animals needing treatment for preventable diseases. πŸ™Œ

Dogs that were once nameless or just a number are now arriving as beloved family members – healthy, happy, and so proudly presented by their owners. It’s incredible to witness the change! 🐢❀️

And the best part? It’s not just the dogs anymore…
🐴 Donkeys were lined up for check-ups too, and the community has even requested a Donkey Stallion Gelding Outreach (we’ll make this happen as soon as funding allows).
πŸ„ We even helped a few cattle along the way!

From sunrise to sunset, we worked side by side with this amazing community, changing the lives of animals – and their people. πŸŒ…πŸ’š

This is what primary healthcare is all about, and we’re so excited to keep building on this journey together!
