Happy International Dog Day 🐾 💕

Celebrating the incredible bond between our handlers and their four-legged partners at our recent Pretoria Shepherd Dog Club Obedience Show.

From focus and discipline to teamwork, trust and plenty of tail wags, our handlers and dogs showed what partnership is all about. A huge congratulations to everyone who took part - your dedication and love for your dogs really shone through. 👏

And honestly, every day is Dog Day at the Club. 🐾

☕🐾 A BIG THANK YOU TO BUSY BEAN! 🐾☕

A huge thank you to Busy Bean Coffee for treating us to the most delicious coffee and muffins at our Obedience Competition yesterday! 🧁☕❤️

It was the perfect fuel for our handlers, helpers and supporters as we cheered on all our amazing dogs and enjoyed a fantastic day at the club.

Your delicious coffee and goodies were very much appreciated! Thank you for supporting the Pretoria Shepherd Dog Club and helping make our competition day extra special. 🐕🏆

Puppy class today. These pups are learning new skills and gaining confidence with the help of their trainers and handlers. Well done little guys, looking forward to seeing you all master the obstacle course. 👏 🐾

Meet Josh Quarmby. Tania & Eric’s favourite son, and the love of Bella’s life. 😍 Tania & Eric fetched Josh from a sheep farmer in Riversdale in the WC. He vomited in the car, and when we stopped the car on a pass, Josh ran away at 100 miles an hour. Georgi jumped out of the car and stopped him as she would a 🐑 and we managed to catch him. He ran away at the dog club several times and has continued to run at the club. Josh, the Runaway Dog. 😂
He is the sweetest boy. Wakes us up every morning with kisses and hugs. He sneaks onto the bed, but Eric always catches him out and shews him off the bed.
Josh loves Bella, probably the only girl, but I’ve seen him eye Lexi. 😂
But he doesn’t like boy dogs, especially Stoffel. 🙄 , but is warming towards Ozzy.
He is at his cutest when playing retrieve. He slips and falls around like a puppy. His face smiles with sheer delight. I love his eyes the most! They are so expressive.
He only makes me angry when he steals food off the counter, the latest being 500 gms butter.

What a fantastic day out! 🐾✨

Some of our Pretoria Shepherd Dog Club members swapped the training field for a fun outing at the Retro Faire, just around the corner from the club. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy the great atmosphere, browse the unique stalls, and spend time together outside of training.

Our club is about more than just dogs—it’s about the friendships and community we build along the way. Thank you to everyone who joined in and made it such an enjoyable day. We can’t wait for the next adventure!
