A CUP OF KINDNESS, A BIG THANK YOU!

Every cup of Sterrewag Ferals’ Rescue Roast coffee and every bag of hot chocolate sold makes a real difference to our rescue kitties.

The commission earned from last month's purchases helped pay for Eona & Sherlock’s first vet visit, deworming, special flea shampoo, kitty mousse and litter.

Love coffee? Love hot chocolate? Love helping cats?

Visit www.rescueroast.co.za and choose Sterrewag Ferals to support our little rescue, one cup at a time!

HELP US GIVE THIS GIRL A BETTER FUTURE!

This beautiful feral girl has had several litters, and we have taken in her two youngest kittens. Now, we want to make sure she doesn’t have to go through another pregnancy.

Our goal is to have her trapped, sterilised and vaccinated as soon as possible . The good news is that the property owner is happy for her to remain there and will provide food for her. Sadly, they are unable to cover the cost of her TNR.

The property is quite far from us, so I’m unable to do the trapping myself, but thankfully, someone has offered to help.

The cost is R800.
Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference and you will be helping us prevent more unwanted litters and give this girl a safer, healthier future.

Every contribution makes a difference!

To help, please contact Antoinette on 082 597 4150.

Among the rocks, branches and bushes, these precious souls have made their home. Each has a story, each deserves kindness, and every little life matters.

We may not be able to bring them all indoors, but we can make sure they are fed, cared for and protected through our ongoing TNR efforts.
Because even feral cats deserve a chance at a better life.

Trapping cats is not for the easily frustrated.

Yesterday evening started with great promise. The kitties went absolutely wild over the catnip spray, but actually going into the traps? Oh no, that would be far too easy!
Then one trap decided to jam, while another clever boy went in, enjoyed the lovely tuna dinner, and strolled straight out again. Clearly, he understood the concept of a free buffet but had absolutely no intention of paying the price!

My grand achievement of the evening? Trapping one cat who had already been sterilised… so back out he went!

An unsuccessful evening by trapping standards, but not a complete failure. This sweet boy kept me company and reminded me why I keep showing up, even when the cats have other plans.

Surely there must be a special family who is willing to offer this special chap a home?

FIV positive Jeremiah is sweet, playful, chatty and incredibly affectionate.

FIV+ cats can live happy, fulfilling lives.
Please don't let those three little letters stop you from meeting this wonderful boy.
