🐾😳 Think your pet just has “a little itch”? Think again… FLEAS!
They’re tiny… but they can turn your pet’s life into a nightmare. 💔
A flea infestation doesn’t just mean scratching it can lead to skin infections, hair loss, allergies, and even anemia in severe cases.
🚩 Signs your pet might have fleas:
• Constant scratching or biting
• Tiny black specks (“flea dirt”) in the fur
• Red, irritated skin
• Restlessness or discomfort
😬 And here’s the truth…
If you see one flea, there are likely MANY more hiding in your home in carpets, bedding, and furniture!
💡 Fleas don’t just live on your pet they invade your space too.
🐶🐱 The good news: With proper treatment (for BOTH your pet and environment), you can break the cycle and protect your furry friend 💛
⚡ Pro tip: Skipping monthly prevention? That’s how infestations start. Stay consistent!
Your pet deserves comfort, not constant itching 🐾
👇 Ever battled a flea infestation? What worked for you? Let’s help each other out!

🐰⚠️ This can turn deadly FAST… it’s called FLY STRIKE! 😨

It starts with something small a dirty bottom, a wound, or damp fur…

Then flies lay eggs… and within HOURS, those eggs hatch into maggots that begin attacking your rabbit’s skin. 💔

🚨 Fly strike is a true emergency.

🚩 Signs to watch for:
• Lethargy or hiding away
• Loss of appetite
• A dirty or wet rear end
• A strong, foul smell
• Visible maggots (advanced stage 😢)

💡 Why it happens:
Warm weather + poor hygiene + underlying illness = the perfect storm for flies.

🐾 Prevention is EVERYTHING:
• Keep your bunny clean and dry
• Check their bottom DAILY
• Clean living areas regularly
• Watch closely in hot weather ☀️

⏳ Act FAST: If you suspect fly strike, get to a vet immediately this condition can become fatal in less than 24 hours.

Your bunny relies on you to notice the signs before it’s too late 💛

👇 Did you know about fly strike before this? Let’s raise awareness together!

🐾 When Your Dog Slows Down… It Might Be More Than Just Age 🐾

Have you ever noticed your dog hesitating to jump, crying out when picked up, or suddenly dragging their back legs? These could be signs of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) a serious but often misunderstood spinal condition in dogs.

🦴 IVDD happens when the cushioning discs between the bones of the spine become damaged or slip out of place, putting pressure on the spinal cord. The result? Pain, nerve damage, and in severe cases, paralysis.

🚨 Watch for these warning signs:
• Reluctance to jump or climb stairs
• Sudden yelping or sensitivity to touch
• Wobbly walking or weakness in the legs
• Loss of coordination or paralysis

❤️ The good news? Early detection can make a life-changing difference. With prompt veterinary care, many dogs recover and go on to live happy, active lives again.

🐶 Certain breeds like Dachshunds, French Bulldogs, and Beagles are more prone but IVDD can affect any dog.

👉 If something feels “off” with your pup, trust your instincts. Don’t wait.
Because they can’t tell us when they’re in pain… but they do rely on us to notice. 🐾

🐾💧 “Just a little diarrhea?” Think again… it could be GIARDIA! 😳

That sudden tummy trouble in your dog or cat might not be from “something they ate.” Giardia is a sneaky parasite that lives in the intestines and it spreads FAST, especially in shared spaces like parks, kennels, or multi-pet homes.

🚩 Watch for these signs:
• Soft, watery, or greasy stool 💩
• Bad-smelling diarrhea
• Weight loss or poor appetite
• Low energy / dehydration

😬 The tricky part? Some pets show no symptoms at all but can still spread it to others!

💡 How it spreads:
Contaminated water, food, or even licking infected surfaces. Yes… even that puddle your dog loves 🫣

🐶🐱 Good news: Giardia is treatable with the right medication from your vet but early detection is key!

⚡ Protect your pets:
• Always provide clean, fresh water
• Clean up p**p promptly
• Keep living areas hygienic
Your pet’s gut health matters more than you think 💛 Don’t ignore the signs!
