Lexi Update 💛

Lexi had her lobectomy on Wednesday and it was a great success. She recovered so well and was already eating on day one. She came home on Friday and has had no issues at all.

A huge thank you to the vet at for the tests and referral to Valley Farm Vet. Thank you to Dr. Mohammed for the CT scan, and to Dr. Klaas-Jan for the most amazing surgery. And to the whole team at Valley Farm for looking after Lexi with so much love and attention.

Thank you to MediPet, Lexi’s medical insurance, for helping cover her surgery and all the care she needed.

Thank you to my clients who stood by me, kept me calm and were there when I needed a hug.

Last but not least, thank you to God for letting everything fall into place. 🙏🏻

Just an added note: This cancer usually only gets noticed once a blood pocket has already ruptured. Dr. Lizemarie at Erasmuskloof is amazing and decided to do a full blood panel on her to make sure everything is okay. I will forever be thankful to the amazing team at Erasmuskloof Vet. ❤️

This lady here. She is the reason I started this all 🐕❤️ she is the face of Lexi's doggy daycare and hotel. I am just the heart.

This is her with her 2nd favourite person on the way to the vet yesterday 🥰 thank you Yvette van der Nest for always being there for them when I can't be❤️

We got some concerning news this week about Lexi's health and asking everyone to keep her in your prayers as we tackle this hurdle placed in front of us🥺🙏🏻🙏🏻
