SEASON REMINDER!
See these beautiful, stunning red seeds from my cycad?
They are extremely poisonous to dogs. Just a nibble of one can cause serious issues, and if they eat one, they die. These seeds cause liver failure and I have lost several clients to these seeds. If mine is dropping seeds, there is a chance that yours could be too! Be careful!

Our Woofiewoks class practicing some lovely recalls!
Recalls are a really important part of having a dog, if your dog has a good recall, it allows you to do a lot more with them.
Some tips for having a good recall:
•PRACTICE! You won't have a good one if you don't put effort into it.
•Always reward the recall, never recall your dog to punish them or tell them off
•Use a long line until your dog is solid around distractions, otherwise they'll just practice ignoring you. The more they practice ignoring you, the better they get at it🤷‍♀️
•Practice your recalls in a calm environment first, and then slowly start putting them in slightly more distracting environments until they're able to recall away from and around distractions.
•Time your recall properly, especially in practicing sessions, if you're trying to recall them while they're mid tumble in a play session, they're not going to listen, wait for a break in play, or just go get your dog if you know they can't recall just yet.
