A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, but veterinary cancer care is about more than the treatment itself.

Every patient is different. Their diagnosis, general health, response to treatment, comfort, appetite, behaviour and quality of life all form part of the decisions made along the way.

For some patients, treatment days can still include the things they love — a favourite toy, a game of fetch, a cuddle, or simply feeling well enough to enjoy being themselves.

The goal is always thoughtful, individual care and ongoing communication throughout the journey.

Because sometimes, puppy therapy really is the best medicine. 🐾

Veterinary care does not always happen in a clinic.

For farm animals, horses, livestock, and large-animal patients, care often needs to happen in the field — where the patient is most safely and practically supported.

Field work requires patience, planning, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to real-world conditions.

At Elite Veterinary & Wildlife Services, the team provides practical veterinary support across a wide range of patients and environments.

Today, all of us at Elite Veterinary & Wildlife Services would like to wish you the happiest of birthdays and an amazing year ahead! 🥳💐

But your care extends far beyond your patients. Thank you for the love, kindness and support you show to your clients and your staff, and for always giving so much of yourself to the people and animals around you.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and everything you bring to Elite Veterinary & Wildlife Services. 🐶🐱🦓🐄🦒

May this next year bring you happiness, success, exciting adventures and many more lives touched and animals helped.

Against all odds, little Nigel is here. 🤍🐑 His brave mom survived severe dog-bite wounds while carrying him, and now she gets to stand proudly beside her healthy little boy. Some happy endings are extra special. 🥹

Veterinary care is about more than treatment alone.

For many animals, a visit to the vet can feel unfamiliar, stressful, or overwhelming. Gentle handling, reassurance, patience, and comfort all play an important role in helping patients feel safer and more supported.

Whether a patient is nervous, recovering, or simply needs a little extra kindness, the way care is given matters.

At Elite Veterinary & Wildlife Services, we believe care is not only what we do — it’s how we do it.
