Absolutely incredible work from

Every successful sterilisation drive is only possible because of a team of compassionate people who believe that every animal deserves a better life.

From all of us at ARK Animal Rescue Kareedouw, thank you to the incredible people and businesses who made our recent 3-day sterilisation drive a success.

💙 Our amazing anonymous sponsor – Thank you for funding these sterilisations. Your generosity is changing lives, and without your unwavering support, these numbers would not be possible.

💙 Spay It Forward – Thank you for assisting with the transport costs to bring our veterinary team to and from the Western Cape.

💙 Marize from La Bocage Guest House – Thank you for accommodating four members of our veterinary team in your beautiful guest house. Your hospitality was truly appreciated.

💙 Breyten from Humansdorp Debonairs, Estelle and Estie from Stella's, and Carol and Matthew from Royal – Thank you for providing delicious dinners for our veterinary team after long, exhausting days. Your kindness meant so much.

💙 Tsitsikamma Crystal Water – Thank you for keeping our vets and volunteers hydrated throughout the three-day campaign.

💙 SSK – Thank you for donating four 20 kg bags of Montego Classic dog food, ensuring that every dog returned home with a nutritious bag of food.

💙 Judy, Wilna, Katrina and Erika – Thank you for your generous donations of blankets, dog food and cat food. Your support brings comfort and care to so many animals.

💙 Nadine van Lil – Thank you for the refreshments, blankets and towels.

💙 Sister Rosslyn – Thank you for the refreshments and your thoughtful support.

💙 Henna – Thank you for the wonderful box of goodies and, most importantly, for always being there for us. Your unwavering support, kindness and encouragement mean more than words can express.

Finally, to everyone who made financial donations—whether your contribution was large or small—please know that we are deeply grateful. Every rand was invested directly into improving the lives of animals in our communities.

Together, we are preventing suffering, reducing unwanted litters, and giving hundreds of animals the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.

Thank you for believing in ARK and for standing with us. Together, we are making a lasting difference—one animal at a time. ❤️🐾

Another sterilization campaign done.
It was both heart wrenching and very rewarding. Once again this was only made possible by like minded people working together with one goal in mind....speak for those who can not speak for themselves. Huge thanks to Daggie from Vetsol and her team. Huge thank you for arranging a sponsorship. Linda-Louise Swain and AACL for always having our back. None of this is possible without your support.
Animal Rescue Kareedouw is now helping us in the Langkloof. A partnership made in heaven.

It is all about the power of one...
One person asking for help, one person deciding to help, one person sharing, one person donating. One person becomes a community. No politics, all about the animals. Thank you to all associated with Misgund outreach 2025.

I don't post often. I very seldom ask for help.
The Langkloof seems to be a community, too far, for any animal organization to reach. With AACL we did 168 steris in 2023. Prima Vet and DAC 76 last year with almost 2000 rabies vacations.
My patterning NPO dropped me on Friday.
HUGE THANKS to AACL who filled that role without hesitation. Again. It is about the animals.
Please share far and wide. We have fundraisers coming up. Even R20 will help. Pay to AACL Port Elizabeth with ref Misgund.

Tiger from the Langkloof was neutered in association with Prima Vet and Domestic Animal Care - Port Elizabeth in September . I am so grateful for all assistance so far.
Unfortunately Tiger used his excess energy chasing Baboons. He needs vet care. Please donate to Domestic Animal Care - Port Elizabetht to help this most brilliant dog. He has to be fetched, stiched up, kept for 2 days, and returned.
Your R5 makes the difference to these forgotten animals in vet care 200km away.
