Life is fragile. Don't forget to live. 🤍✝️

Sometimes it takes a moment we never saw coming to remind us just how precious life really is. We get so caught up in tomorrow, our worries, and everything we still want to achieve that we forget to appreciate the gift of today.

The truth is, none of us knows what tomorrow holds. So why wait for the perfect moment to be happy? Why postpone the laughter, the love, the adventures, and the little things that make life beautiful?

Lately, I've been reflecting on how important it is to slow down and truly live. To cherish the people we love, forgive a little quicker, show kindness freely, and find beauty in the ordinary moments we so often overlook.

Above all, I've been reminded that our deepest joy is found in Christ.

Not in a perfect life or circumstances that always go our way, but in knowing Him, trusting His promises, and resting in the hope we have through Him.

Life will bring seasons of heartache and uncertainty, but even in those moments, we can hold on to a joy that goes beyond our circumstances because our hope is anchored in Jesus.

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” — Philippians 4:4 (ESV)

We have today, and today is a gift. Let's not become so busy chasing tomorrow that we forget to live the life God has given us.

Love deeply. Laugh freely. Be present. Walk closely with Jesus. And let your joy be rooted in Him.🤍

✨ Which exfoliation is right for your skin?

Exfoliating is an important part of a good skincare routine. It helps remove the buildup of dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling smoother and refreshed and ready for the rest of your skincare routine. 🌿

At LovisaLife, we have different options because not every skin type needs the same kind of exfoliation.

✨ Pure Radiance Natural Peel
A chemical exfoliant containing 5% glycolic acid + 5% lactic acid.

🌸 Skin Polisher
A gentle physical exfoliator featuring dried hibiscus flowers.

🍯 Honey Facial Scrub
A nourishing facial exfoliator with crystallised honey, rosehip & Himalayan salt.

Our simple tip: Exfoliate at least once a week, with twice a week being optimal for most people — always taking your skin's tolerance into consideration. Over-exfoliating isn't better.

💚 Not sure which exfoliation is right for you?
Contact me and I'll assist you in choosing the right one for your skin and skincare routine.

Healthy skin. Healthy body. Beautifully you.

I’ve been quiet lately because, honestly, life has felt like a lot.

There is so much uncertainty around me right now, and I’ve been struggling with the things I cannot control. But two songs have been speaking so deeply to me in this season: “God Is in Control” by Siren Vox and “Only Jesus” by Casting Crowns.

They’ve reminded me of something I think I desperately need to hear right now:

God is my Heavenly Father. I don’t have to understand everything to trust Him.

My relationship with food and my weight has also been a struggle for me this past week. When life feels overwhelming, I sometimes find myself turning to food for comfort. I’m recognising that gently, without judging myself, because I know it’s a sign that I’m carrying more than I perhaps realise.

I’m learning to look for healthier ways to care for myself and to bring those feelings to God rather than trying to carry them alone.

I cannot control everything around me. I cannot control every outcome. And I don’t have to fix everything by myself.

I can choose where I put my trust.

Something I heard from Dr. Timothy Keller recently has stayed with me:

We are not spiritual orphans. We have a Heavenly Father whose love we don’t have to earn. Our security is not in what we possess, but in knowing we belong to Him. We are loved, provided for and invited to rest in His fatherly care.

That really touched my heart.

Because even when I don’t have control, He does.

Even when I don’t know what comes next, He does.

And even when I can’t see a way forward, I am still His daughter.

Maybe I’m sharing this because someone else is sitting in their own season of uncertainty too. Maybe you’re trying to hold together things you were never meant to carry alone.

If that’s you, I hope you know you’re not alone. 🤍

So I’m learning to take the next step, do what I can, and leave the rest in His hands.

I am loved.
I belong to Him.
He is my Father.
He is in control.
Only Jesus. 🤍🌿

🌸 Finding My Way Back to the Things I Love

I used to love getting lost in a good book, with my precious doggie curled up beside me.

Many years ago, while I was absorbed in my reading, my precious baby passed away beside me.

With that loss came heartbreak, guilt and endless what ifs.

And so I stopped reading.

Not because I'd lost my love for books, but because they brought back the memory of that day.

Even after all these years, I'm still working through the trauma. I'm discovering that healing has no deadline. It's about taking one small step at a time, at my own pace, and learning to give myself grace along the way.

I'm slowly finding the courage to open a book again, allowing the beautiful memories of our time together to have more space than that one painful day.

❤️ Because one heartbreaking memory shouldn't overshadow a lifetime of love.

🕊️ The Beauty of Getting Lost

There was a time when I loved getting into my car, turning up my favourite music and just driving.

No GPS.No planned destination. Just me, the open road and a little adventure.

Funny enough, some of the most beautiful places I discovered were when I got completely lost! Beautiful views, hidden little places and unexpected experiences I would otherwise have missed.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped doing that.

Looking at this painting reminded me of those adventures and how much joy they brought me.

It also made me wonder how easily we get caught up in our routines and forget about the little things we once loved.

Perhaps it's time to turn up the music again, take that unfamiliar road and see where it leads.

After all, not everything beautiful in life needs to be planned. Sometimes the unexpected turns make the best memories.

❤️ Now I'm curious... What's one thing you used to love doing that you haven't done in ages?

🌿 PRODUCT OF THE WEEK 🌿

✨ LovisaLife Nourishing Body Oil ✨

Hello, my lovelies! 💕

Did you know that applying body oil to slightly damp skin can help lock in moisture?

This week, I'm sharing our LovisaLife Nourishing Body Oil, a beautiful blend of plant-based oils designed to leave your skin feeling soft, nourished and naturally radiant.

🌿 Let's look at what's inside!

🥑 Avocado Oil – Rich in fatty acids that nourish and soften dry skin.

🍇 Grapeseed Oil – Lightweight and helps moisturise without feeling too heavy.

🥥 Coconut Oil – Helps soften skin and retain moisture.

🌹 Rosehip Oil – Helps maintain healthy-looking skin.

🌸 Ylang-Ylang and Bergamot – Add a lovely natural botanical fragrance.

💡 My little skincare tip!

Apply your body oil to slightly damp skin after showering to help lock in moisture.

And here's something you might not know! You can also use it on your face. Simply apply a few drops over your serum at night for that extra nourishment. 💕

Beautiful skin deserves a little love, naturally! 🌿

💜 From Moonlight to Me-Time

Well, after sharing my little moonlight reflection, I thought I'd take some of my own advice tonight! 😂

Hair up, comfy pyjamas on, and a little pampering with my LovisaLife RF Device.

Nothing fancy. Just a quiet Saturday evening, looking after my skin and enjoying a little time for myself.

Sometimes the moments we appreciate most are the simplest ones.

And tonight, this is mine. 💜

Hello my lovelies 🌙

With the full moon returning tonight, I remembered this photo I took some time ago.

I remember standing there watching the moon disappear behind the clouds, only to show itself again a moment later.

And I just watched.

No big lesson. No perfect words. Just a beautiful moment that made me stop and appreciate what was right in front of me.

It made me think about how much of life we miss because we’re always looking for what comes next.

Sometimes nothing needs to happen. Nothing needs to be figured out.

Sometimes you can simply look up, be still, and notice what is already there.

That night, this was enough. 🤍🌙

Sometimes joy looks like this… 😂🐾❤️

Completely relaxed, belly in the air, without a care in the world.

It’s funny how the smallest, most ordinary moments can make us smile the most.

We spend so much time waiting for the big moments that sometimes we forget to notice the little ones happening right in front of us.

Today’s little reminder: notice what makes you smile. 🤍

What was your little moment today?

Love,
Lara ❤️
