Certain goat breeds can climb trees. In regions such as Morocco, goats are frequently observed climbing argan trees in search of fruit and foliage. Their climbing ability stems from muscular coordination, balance control, and a strong hoof grip.

Their fainting response is caused by a hereditary neuromuscular condition. In mytonic goats, sudden excitement triggers temporary muscle stiffness, causing them to faint. These episodes are generally brief and painless.

Blueberries rich blue-purple colour come from compounds called anthocyanins, pigments that have many antioxidant properties. Antioxidants assist in protecting cells from unnecessary damage. Alongside antioxidants, blueberries provide dietary fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese, supporting cardiovascular health and cognitive function. Interestingly, the silvery coating often seen on fresh blueberries is a waxy layer called the bloom, which helps protect the fruit from moisture loss and environmental damage while growing.

Blueberries are also considered a safe, enjoyable treat for dogs, in moderation. Research and veterinary guidance suggest that antioxidant-rich foods are particularly beneficial for senior pets. Best served fresh, or as a long-lastinh frozen treat especially during warmer weather.

Their signature coat pattern, known as “belton,” consists of speckled ticking. Ticking is the term for flecks or spots of colour on white patches. Their coat requires consistent grooming to maintain its texture and prevent matting, particularly around the ears, chest, and feathered limbs.

Beyond their aristocratic appearance and beautifully feathered coat, the English Setter is known for their sweet "velcro dog" temperament, as they often remain physically close and attached to their owners sides.

Did you know, Border Collies have a high concentration of fast response neural pathways associated with motion sensitivity, including the famous "collie eyes" a fixed, hypnotic stare used to influence livestock without physical contact. Many Border Collies display a behaviour known as “shadow stalking,” where they become intensely fixated on moving light patterns or reflections.

Chaser, the most famous Border Collie in canine cognition research, could identify and retrieve 1,022 toys by name. Chaser began to understand that objects have names at five months old, and was able to pair a novel object with a novel name in one trial, although rehearsal was necessary to log it into her long-term memory. She recognized common nouns such as 'house', 'tree', and 'ball', as well as adverbs, verbs and prepositional objects. Chaser could also learn new words by "inferential reasoning by exclusion", that is, inferring the name of a new object by excluding objects whose names she already knew.
