From *5–11 October 2026*, the **FLAGGED Cross-Country Course at Farm Rondeberg will remain OPEN!** 🚩✨

Whether you want to have some fun, school your horse, build confidence or get a little more cross-country experience, this is the perfect opportunity.

Ready to put your horse and your riding skills to the test? Join us for one of Cape Hunt Club’s most anticipated events of the year!

The Hunter Trials combine the excitement of cross-country with the fun of friendly competition.

⚠️ This is NOT a hunt.

It is a fun cross-country event where you can enter individually or in teams of 2 or 3.

If you or your horse need a little confidence boost, this is a golden opportunity! You are welcome to have a lead rider with you — and it’s a great opportunity to bring your instructor along as your lead rider to help guide and support you around the course. 🐎💛

⏱️ HOW IT WORKS

Ride as close as possible to the optimum time — without a stopwatch! Accuracy, rhythm and horsemanship are rewarded.

⭐ QUALIFIED HUNTER – 70cm
Open to riders and horses who have attended at least 5 Cape Hunt Club hunts this season, or by invitation of the Master.

💰 ENTRY FEES

Ground Levy: R200 per horse
Medical & Officials Levy: R150 per horse
50cm Classes: R200 per horse/rider combination
70cm Classes: R250 per horse/rider combination
