Saying goodbye to Ruby Rose was not easy for us, but I think it was the best decision for her, she already loves her new family so much, and that's all that matters.
Thank you Cobus and Susan for making Ruby happy ❤️

Farming is a lifestyle, there is always something that needs fixing, building or cleaning up. Sunday we had time to walk the perimeter fences and it was Mickey's turn to walk with us, Eugene brought the old camera along so we could include a photo opp. It's a good thing that we checked these fences before turning the goats out into that field, because the last storm we had about 3 weeks ago had taken down at least four trees and, unfortunately, the trees destroyed large sections of fencing, and so the repairs carry on.
In the meantime here are photos of The Gentleman Mickey, who is proving a huge success as a semen donor stud dog, Mickey is 6.5 years old and has about 31 offspring in Australia, 🇦🇺 and now recently we did another semen collection which is destined for the USA. 🇺🇸

The weather is crazy right now, my peach trees and wisteria are blossoming, but I know we are going to get a cold snap, maybe even snow in September, in the meantime my kids are loving the weather ❤️

My sincere apologies, I promised the new puppies owners that I would take photos and videos of their babies, but I have managed to get the flu for the first time in years, and it's knocked me down, hopefully Eugene can take photos without me or I can try tomorrow, but right now I am down and out! 🤒 🤧

Bodingtons Cassie took 2nd place in the WBBA Online Conformation Show in April 2026.
Open Group 3-4 years old females. We are so proud of our farm girl who competed against seasoned international show dogs. We thank the Judge Miriam Welz-Koopen for recognizing Cassie's quality and we thank the WBBA show organizers for another superbly organized international show, hopefully we will be able to compete again. 🏅🏆 🏆
