Good Morning all my Fellow COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS

Just a refresher from a while back.
We are going into summer and temperatures are picking up gradually... WATER is one of the most important things that so easily gets neglected in the Feedlot industry.....

Here are a few pointers :
1. Always ensure that your cattle have sufficient clean water to drink.
2. This includes the water troughs that must be scrubbed and cleaned at least 3 times a week.
3. If possible water must be clean and clear borehole water that you yourself are willing to drink.
4. By ensuring all of the above you have the surety that your cattle have the best quality water that is free of alge and other negative substances.
5. This also limits the possibility of cross contamination from sick cattle that drinks from the same water source.
6. This also accounts to the water troughs in your grazing camps witch so easily gets neglected.

REMEMBER THAT WATER IS JUST AS IMPORTANT FOR SUFFICIENT GROWTH OF YOUR LIVESTOCK AS IS FEED...
