Meet Von Tappen-Haven II
A beautiful c**t who truly has it all, presence, movement, and a heart of gold.
By the incredible Callaho's Victory For Ever
Out of Callaho's Vienna de Landetta - whose dam is the FULL-SISTER to the legendary Arko Ill, Nick Skelton's World Number One Horse in 2004 & 2005.
World-class jumping bloodlines on both sides, combined with the most beautiful, willing temperament.
One we are incredibly proud of. A star for the future.

šŸ“Big milestone day todayšŸ“
Took Vaderlandsche Selena one of my Sisley fillies for her very first clinic at Rivendell stud with Jaap van den Heerden.
She walked straight into the horsebox on her own and travelled like a pro all on her own.
She was so brave, calm and willing from start to finish - took everything in her stride like she's done it all before.
So proud of how we bring them up - confident, kind and trusting. That's the best start you can give a young horse.
Exciting future for this special girl

It's been a full few days with the horses.
Some babies taking their first steps under saddle, some older ones learning to love work again. My whole focus is always the same - keep it simple, keep it kind, and give them the best, most confidence-building start to their ridden and racing careers.
Watching all the babies come in so tall and willing yesterday really reminded me why I love this work so much. I think I missed this in life.
Excited for what is ahead for all of them.

My alarm clock has feathers.
It started with ONE cockerel. Every morning he walks into my bedroom like he pays rent, stands next to my bed, and SCREAMS.
I thought we had an understanding. He crows, I wake up, we both go about our day.
But now... now he's bringing his FRIEND
This morning I woke up to TWO of them in my room. In a formation.
Looking at me like "You're late."
I don't own chickens anymore. They own ME. I'm just living in their house.
If anyone needs me, I'll be Googling "how to evict a cockerel politely."

My alarm is spot on time this morning. He pops in every morning to either say hi or get up the sun is out. I love this little guy

Watching the sunset tonight, it really hit me how much we have achieved in such a short time.
