Priscilla and Katinka had the most delightful day together!

Imagine the two of them waking up early, with the sky just starting to glow as the sun peeks over the horizon.

Priscilla’s got her morning cup of coffee in hand, and little Katinka is just being her adorable self, probably wagging her tail and enjoying the peaceful morning vibes.

Later on, they went for some lovely walks, met up with other doggie friends along the beach, and, of course, it was just a perfect little adventure for them.

Now that the evening has rolled around and the weather’s turned a bit chilly, they’re all cozied up inside, snuggled together with some cuddles and maybe a treat or two.

It’s just the sweetest way for them to wind down after a lovely day.

Well, hello from Charlie’s side of the fence!

So, you know, I had my usual early morning wake-up call—I like to be up before the sun, naturally.

We started off on our usual stroll and I was all set for another one of those mystical, misty mornings. But halfway through, I decided, "You know what? I’m just not feeling it today." So, I did what any self-respecting dog would do—I put on the brakes!

Poor Marié tried everything—treats, sweet talk, the whole nine yards—but I was just not moving.

But here’s the best part of my day from a pup’s perspective: later on, Marié made me this super delicious hoof, filled with peanut butter and all my favorite goodies stuck inside.

I spent nearly an hour just happily working at that treat—a perfect diversion and a great way to keep me busy after my little walking protest.

So, even though I skipped out on the full walk, I still had a fantastic day. Here’s to trying again in the morning—maybe I’ll be more in the mood for a longer adventure!

Sue checked in with beautiful Jeemee and Charly

It’s great that they already remember Sue from the previous stay, so they’re coming out of their shells a little more quickly this time around. It's a relief to see them feeling comfortable so quickly this time.

Since this is a long pet sit, with Sue staying until mid-June and then Marié taking over until July, there’ll be plenty of time for everyone to settle in.

The updates and photos will be absolutely adorable. It’s always heartwarming to see those sweet indoor cats just loving life.

We will definitely be enjoying this lovely garden and all the little things going on in Greyton.

It sounds like a cozy and delightful time ahead!

This morning, Priscilla and her little shadow, Katinka, started their day at the first light of dawn.

With a warm cup of coffee in hand and Katinka happily wagging by her side, they watched the sunrise paint the sky in gentle colors.

The rest of the day was a sunny adventure of multiple walks, meeting fellow pups and friendly faces, and simply soaking in the joy of a beautiful Sunday.

It’s always a special time when these two head out together.

Marié and Charley in Napier!

With Charley's early morning "death stare" at six o'clock sharp, you know the routine is about to unfold—open the door, serve the breakfast, and then on to the walk!

This morning's mist certainly made things a bit more mysterious, waiting until after eight for it to lift a bit before heading out.

It's almost like walking through a quiet, dewy dreamscape that leaves your hair damp by the time you're back home.

But hey, today sounds like it was the perfect "Sunday off day"—just lounging around, Charley relaxing on the stoep, and enjoying a simple, easygoing time with the horses and the neighbor's dog.

Sometimes just doing as little as possible is the best kind of reset. Here's to a fresh new week ahead and whatever adventures it may bring!

🌞🐾 The Tale of Tillie’s Crew 🐾🌞

Once upon a sunny morning, all the little ones were lined up neatly in front of Tillie’s bed. Through the night she had tucked them in again and again, afraid they might grow cold.

Their orchestra of snores and sighs played softly in the dark — the tiny steam‑engine puff of a snorer, the long drawn‑out groan of another — all dreaming of yesterday’s snacks and games. 🎻💤

Cotton added to the mischief, meowing at the curtains as if there was a secret to share. By midday, Sankie was already busy playing with the older lady, while Floki stretched lazily in the sunlit window.

Cotton claimed a dog’s bed for herself, and cheeky Lags decided she was a dog too — racing to the kitchen with the rest whenever snacks were mentioned. 🐶🐱✨

It was a day of warmth, laughter, and gentle music of contentment. And as the afternoon drifted into a lazy glow, Tilly’s crew seemed to say their goodbyes in the sweetest way — with full bellies, sunny naps, and hearts wrapped in love. 💖🐾

Monkey business!!

Hallo there, from our little corner of Napier! As always, Charlie was up bright and early today, ready for his morning “call of duty.” Once he’d taken care of business, he was all eyes on me, waiting for his breakfast and that all-important morning walk.

Today’s walk was especially crisp and fresh—winter is definitely creeping in. There’s a chill in the air, but that didn’t stop Charlie from enjoying every bit of it. The sunrise here is just stunning, and it’s one of those moments that makes these early outings so worth it.

Once we got back home, things were peaceful for a while—until our neighbors in the reserve decided to make a bit of a scene!

The baboons showed up again, and let me tell you, their calls can be quite the soundtrack. It sounds dramatic, as if the little ones are getting into trouble with the older baboons, but I’ve learned they’re often just putting on a bit of a show!

It can tug at your heartstrings to hear it, especially when they’re so close to the yard, but I’m reassured knowing that it’s mostly just baboon drama.

After the excitement calmed down, Charlie settled in for a cozy afternoon nap on his favorite blanket. Just another day in our little slice of paradise!
