So what are we going to do?
We are going to spay not 1, BUT 3... underprivileged dogs in our community and prevent 3 times the neglect and suffering, making 3 dogs lives happier and healthier in the process.

This is our Archie — just 1 week later 🐾❤️
What a difference love, care, and a full tummy can make. Archie has had a nice bath, has been eating well every day, and has already started gaining some much-needed weight.
From the scared, thin boy who walked into the Hideaway Pub looking for help, Archie is slowly becoming happy, comfortable, and content. He has truly made himself at home and fits right in with the family.
Seeing him relax, feel safe, and show his beautiful personality more each day reminds us why we do what we do. His journey is only beginning, and we cannot wait to watch him continue to heal and grow stronger.
We will continue sharing Archie’s progress with everyone

Meet Archie 🐾
Our new boy Archie came to us just over a week ago. We do not know his full story, only that he walked into the Hideaway Pub looking for help. He was extremely thin, malnourished, and clearly had a hard life before finding his way to us.
Despite everything he may have been through, Archie has the most beautiful nature. He is gentle, loving, and incredibly friendly — a true beautiful soul.
Sometimes the animals who have suffered the most still choose kindness, and Archie is one of them. Now he is finally in the right place, where he will learn what love, care, safety, and respect truly feels like.
Welcome to the family, Archie ❤️🐶

Meet Molly, family of the Mclaren’s Animal Sanctuary (MAS Meyerton).
Molly is a 7-year-old purebred female Fox Terrier with gentle eyes and a heart full of love.
She has been part of our sanctuary family for the past 6 years, growing, healing, and sharing her love with everyone around her.

Molly’s life hasn’t always been kind. She was sold because money was valued more than her happiness and well-being.
She ended up in the wrong hands and was nearly discarded when she became pregnant.
For the last 6 years, Molly has been safe at Mclaren’s Animal Sanctuary, where she is cherished and protected every single day.

Molly is a beautiful, loving soul with a big personality.
She is very protective over her family and absolutely adores baby animals…
so much so, she tries to “steal” them just to love them! 🐶💕
💔 Her Story…
Molly was sold to the wrong hands… because money was more important than her life and happiness.
She fell pregnant, and instead of being cared for,
we were told her owner wanted to take her to the SPCA in Vereeniging—
simply because he didn’t want a pregnant dog.
Thankfully, Molly was rescued and brought to safety.
She has now been with Mclaren’s Animal Sanctuary for the past 5 YEARS…
waiting for kindness, care, and a second chance.
