๐จ๐ Another Hit Against Drugs on Our Streets
Recently, members of the Provincial Drugs and Fi***rm Unit, supported by the Excellerate K9 Unit, conducted an operation at an identified premises in Umlazi suspected of being used for drug dealing.
The suspect had fled before police arrived and is believed to have been tipped off. But what was left behind told its own story. A search of the premises resulted in the recovery of:
๐น 14 packets of co***ne powder
๐น 196 assorted ecstasy tablets
๐น R18,500 in cash
The recovered drugs had an estimated street value of R21,600.
A subsequent search of the surrounding area for the suspect was unsuccessful. All recovered items were secured and handed over to Umlazi SAPS as part of the ongoing investigation.
