🐾 Marble’s Incredible Recovery! ❤️

What started as a seemingly innocuous cat bite rapidly progressed into a devastating, flesh-destroying bacterial infection (necrotising fasciitis).

Aggressive surgical debridement and healing by second intention were necessary. Despite doubts along the way, we persisted — and Marble’s wound has now almost completely closed!

A wonderful testament to the body’s incredible ability to heal. ❤️

Never underestimate a cat bite! Even a small wound can become a serious emergency.

🐾 A FIGHT FOR LIFE – JORDIE’S STORY ❤️🐶

Little Jordie, a Yorkie referred to us from Wakkerstroom, arrived critically ill with severe biliary (tick-bite fever). He was extremely weak and needed intensive treatment, including a blood transfusion, a potassium-spiked drip and liver-supportive therapy.

It was touch and go, but Jordie fought hard, and we are so grateful he made it through! ❤️ His story is a reminder of just how dangerous tick-borne diseases can be, especially in our little companions.

Lola suffered a gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV) and required emergency tubing and surgery. Thankfully, she pulled through! ❤️

❤️ Dear old Alice ❤️

This geriatric Jack Russell was accidentally run over, and despite two weeks of setbacks, her owners and our vets never gave up on her.

We are so happy to report that Alice is back to her old self and coping incredibly well on her three legs! 🐾

🦷 A week of DOG DENTALS! 🐶❤️

There is something very special about growing up with a dog. ❤️🐾
