With a very heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our Gandy Girl today. 💔 The loss of her presence and chirps ringing around our reception are already so evident.

We want to thank everyone for the support shown to our team whilst we have been walking this extremely difficult road. We would also like to thank Heather Camfferman for all her efforts and care with Gandy.

The loss of a beloved pet and part of the family is never easy, and we most certainly will all miss you dearly Gands.

From one mom to another 🤍

This sweet golden oldie recently became a mom herself, giving birth to a litter of beautiful pups. Sadly, she was also living with a severe old fracture that significantly limited her movement and quality of life.

A few incredible angels stepped in and brought her to us, hoping we could help this precious mama.

And from one mom to another, Dr Bianca stepped in and gave her the amputation she needed to get that spring back in her step.

She has been doing absolutely amazing, and it has been so special to see her personality come to life again after the procedure. After just a few short days in hospital, she was ready to be reunited with her little pups, and we couldn’t have been happier to send this mama home.

A huge thank you to every single person who played a part in getting her the help she needed. From the people who rescued her, to those who brought her to us, cared for her, and supported her journey, amazing things happen when a community stands together.

Here’s to a happy, pain-free life for this very special mama and many more happy days with her babies. 🐶

Oh snap! Spring is here! 🌸

Your best friend is ready to make the most of it - with plenty of:

🥾 Hikes
🏊‍♂️ Swimming
🌿 Exploring

But with all the fun comes a few creepy-crawly concerns we need to watch out for!

This spring, tick numbers have boomed, and we’re seeing a sharp increase in cases of biliary (tick-bite fever) in our pets.

Don’t let ticks put a damper on your adventures! Keep your best friend protected while they enjoy everything spring has to offer.

Come chat to us about the best tick-prevention options for your pet (and there are a limited amount of vouchers available too 😉).

Sometimes the road is covered in dust, dirt and detours, and you can’t see what’s waiting around the corner.

But don’t let the mess convince you that you’ve lost your way. Getting knocked down is not the end — it’s an invitation to rise again.

Dust yourself off, lift your eyes, and keep going.

The road may be messy, but the destination is still worth it.
