"Primary Paws, what a journey!
I thought we are just going to teach Bella to follow commands and to build a little confidence through the process.
The Primary Paws turned out to be so much more!
I think the human companions learn more about themselves through the process, including how even their best intentions can sometimes lead to undesirable puppy behaviour.
Steven went above and beyond to support all the puppies, doubling his efforts at no extra charge by offering two classes instead of one for the more insecure puppies.
Above all, there were free extra classes, each week.
I do think the human companions, or me at least, underestimated the effort you need to make during the Primary Paws.
You can gain much more from the class by approaching it with the right mindset and understanding what is truly expected of you as a human companion.
Our puppy gained a great deal of confidence, though I believe there was still more potential for growth if I had put in greater effort.
Thank you, Steven, for your exceptional skill, effort, continued commitment, and patience with human companions who learn slowly.
