Very proud of our very own Lee and Ross (with Bondi as reserve). This will be her first world championships.

My agility journey began with my first Border Collie Shiloh. She was my heart and soul dog and my shadow, always by my side. Although she tried her utmost, she was plagued with early take-off syndrome and struggled to judge depth and distance ending in early retirement from agility sooner than I had hoped.
Next along came crazy Kraz. Although he was ultra determined and keen on agility, Kraz was a little on the looney, crazy good side and together we development and learned many important lessons along the way. Through him, I learned so much about the sport and myself.
Then I was blessed and got my pocket rocket Bondi Girl!!! Her grandad was the great legendary Rage and her exceptional mom Trinity is from the amazing Willtowin Kennels. Bondi is a phenomenal girl and always gives 200% at first I struggled with this โFerrari on iceโ but since we have formed this magical bond and we are adapting to each other and slowly but surely, itโs all coming together, and what a journey and exciting adventure it has been thus far with my Bondi.
Unfortunately, a few years ago my husband Wayne suddenly lost his heart and soul dog Rage to cancer. This sudden loss caused him to lose his appetite and love for agility and he needed to take some time off away from the sport. In the interim Wayne kept Ross, a son from Rage, and sadly but fortunately for me Wayne gave me Ross to compete with. Ross is the also the father of my amazing Bondi girl. Ross is joined this year with his litter sister Ri and his half-sister Mae (they share the same mom i.e. Vika). Itโs truly a family affair.
Wow!!!!!! WHAT A SENSATION Ross has been, although his nickname is โstoutโ appropriately named by Leandre, Ross has the most amazing temperament and loving nature, he is super confident, ultra keen and up for any challenge or adventure. After we started competing together, ROSS restored my faith in agility again, as we all know how soul destroying this sport can be.
Ross is an incredible boy with exceptional skills and with correct and precise handling, can achieve great heights.
It is my first world champs and although a touch nerve wrecking, I am beyond proud, honoured and excited to be stepping onto the world stage with Ross to represent my country and I hope we can hold it together when it matters most. Regardless of the result, the best dog will come home with me.
Ross, I owe you everything. You are truly one in a million and I couldnโt have asked for a better partner. I hope you enjoy your holiday and adventure as we create magical memories along the way my special boy, love you lots!!!!!
Finally, a special thanks to our team leader Jason, who has gone above and beyond with organising our trip and all the other necessary arrangements, you a Star!!!!
