MYTH ❌
“Spring grass is harmless, so my horse can graze as much as they like.”

FACT ✅
Fresh spring grass can be surprisingly high in sugar. A sudden increase in grazing can contribute to digestive upset and increase the risk of laminitis, especially in susceptible horses.

🌱 Introduce spring grazing gradually, keep an eye on your horse’s weight and condition, and chat to your vet if your horse is prone to laminitis or metabolic issues.

🐎 Thank You — But We Still Need Your Help!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated towards our 2026 Lesotho Outreach. 🤍

We’ve received some wonderful donations, and we are so grateful — but with only 10 days to go, we still need as much equine tack as possible!

Our top priorities are:
🐴 Saddles
🐴 Numnahs
🐴 Horse blankets — preferably smaller sizes

We can also make use of:
🐎 Bridles & bits
🐎 Halters
🐎 Stirrups & stirrup leathers
🐎 Girths

Tack does not need to be in perfect condition — if it is still usable, we can use it!

🚫 Fly nets and fly masks are not needed.

If you have any unused tack sitting around, now is the time to put it to good use! Every donation will help a horse in Lesotho. 🙏🐎
