Looking for a clean, high-protein treat to spoil your cat without adding hidden fillers, seasonings, or artificial preservatives? 🐈⬛🐟
Pet nutritionists love this simple 2-ingredient recipe because it combines pure salmon (packed with Omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat health) with egg (a complete protein source for muscle maintenance). They are easy to make, grain-free, and perfect for training or occasional rewards!
Prep time: 5 mins | Bake time: 12–15 mins | Yields: Approx. 30 mini bite-sized treats
Ingredients
1 can pink salmon (drained, strictly in water/spring water with no added salt)
1 whole egg
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Check the drained salmon carefully to ensure there are no large, hard bones or skin fragments.
Place the salmon and egg into a food processor or blender. Blitz until completely smooth.
Spoon or pipe tiny, pea-sized dots onto the baking paper. (Keep them small—treats should fit comfortably within your cat's daily calorie limits!)
Bake at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bites are firm and crisp on the outside.
Allow them to cool completely before offering one to your cat.
💡 Pet Safety Note: Treats should make up no more than 10% of your cat's daily diet. Store any leftover treats in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to a month!
