Livery made simple
How it works:
A herd of no more than 10 horses will grazing on a rotational system year-round to insure paddock health and horses with full stomachs. This program will be split into 2-month periods where the horses go through the whole 35 hectares (avg camp size 5.5 Hectares) of naturals grazing. At no point will it be necessary for feeding bales. .
What type of grazing?
These camps consist of a wide variety of Grasses, Shrubs, Weeds and Ground Covers that make grazing a delight for every horse. Camps are stacked with vegetation the horses absolutely love.
Some Species:
Grasses (Wild Oats, Perennial Rye Grasses, Planted Oat Hay and lots more.)
Fynbos (Not sure the plants names.)
Weeds (Dandelion and Oxalis the most loved.)
These species get substituted throughout the year depending on the season.
For what type of horse?
This program is beneficial to any horse, this program has been proving itself to our clients more than once. Horses that were neglected, underfed, minimal muscle tone have all picked up great weight without any extra feed. This program is the more natural way for a horse to keep a healthy immune system.
The paddocks are also spacious enough for horses to keep a distance if preferred. Horses tend to get in each other way more than often and when that happens, they have the space to get away if need be.

Tick treatment every 2 weeks
Barefoot trimming every 5 weeks
Owners have access to our beautiful trails.
Access to training facilities (round pen, soon a 40×20 m Arena)
