Parrots need toys for mental and physical stimulation, but they can get expensive. My wife, Sasha, and I, have been parrot-lovers for some years now, and I have been making most of their toys. Through careful observation concerning what our parrots (Plato, Loki and Griffin) love, and trial and error with size/colour/shape, I have come up with simple yet ideal toy designs. low-cost packs with easy instructions so that you can make your parrot toys too - having fun while saving money. All the ingredients are parrot safe (pine blocks, discs and pegs, cotton rope and food colouring) and correctly sized to suit their beaks.
