Lichtenburg Equestrian Club New horse riding school in Lichtenburg, North West is the perfect place to learn how to ride horses! Hi there, my name is Julie Meijer. Who am I?

I started riding as a child in the North West Province competing with the riders from the Military equestrian unit and many more. I have many years of experience in riding, owning, and schooling of horses and riders. I competed successfully as a Child, Junior and Adult Rider in many Equestrian Disciplines including but not limited to Showing, Dressage and Show jumping. From owning riding schools,

I believe that one of the most important keys is firmly establishing the basics and building a partnership between horse/pony and rider. Furthermore, I have exceptional experience and patience in teaching riders with special needs. I am proud to say that I have also completed the Dressage South Africa Technical skills course for coaches in 2022 and am furthering my studies in 2023.
2022 was a phenomenal year for me in the Northern Cape as I was elected to be the head coach of the SANESA Northern Cape Team. With that being said, the Team achieved exceptional results at the SANESA Nationals! I will be providing top level coaching and will be managing the nutrition and general wellbeing of all the horses at the Lichtenburg Equestrian Club. I am excited to share my talents and experience with the Lichtenburg Equestrian Club and riders!
