To all our valued customers,

I am deeply saddened to announce that after 18 short but absolutely incredible months of running Pooch Paradise, I have decided to permanently close our doors January 2022.

We'll be accomodating all of the four-pawed guests that have booked for December and beginning January and will no longer accept any bookings as of 5 January 2022.

This has been an extremely special journey during which Lané, Liesl, Rue-Ché, Gerty, Iza, Bianca, Lauren and myself crossed paths with so many unique and beautiful furchild souls and animal-loving humans that have such compassion and so much care for their dogs. We thank you for sharing your beloved pets with us for periods of times during day care and stays and for entrusting them to us and giving us the opportunity to love and care for them.

Thank you for the amazing support during the months and I am truly sorry to make this disappointing announcement.

I am sharing this post on the Pooch Paradise page after a recent incident during which an ignorant and utterly disrespectful person fed my dog bones below the dining table, and continued to do so after being told not to, causing Demi pain and discomfort, vomiting and diarrhoea. Demi has recovered and is fine now, but the reason for sharing the post below is in hope to influence people who think they are kind by giving dogs HARMFUL bones, to NOT GIVE DOGS BONES...

STOP FEEDING BONES TO YOUR DOGS !!

Bones can cause serious complications and DEATH

During an emergence surgery early this morning at The Society for Animals in Distress almost a kilogram of bones had to be removed from the stomach and intestine a 2 year Pitbull. This very loved pet is left fighting for his life through a simple act of ignorance.

Bones can cause intestinal obstructions, choke, puncture holes through the intestines, fracture teeth and a multitude of other problems - it's just not worth it!!

Update: Stoffel made his way back home and is safe and sound ❤

Stoffel has gone missing from his home in Langebaan Country Estate (the Golf Estate) this afternoon at around 4pm and has been missing since.

His humans are worried sick and it is not in his nature to wander around.

He is a friendly Schnauzer and responds to his name, Stoffel.

If anyone sees this dog PLEASE call Elsabe Bettesworth on 0823819258.
