🦎📦 Tyler the Bearded Dragon decided to personally supervise the packing of his medication before being discharged. After all, when you're the patient, it's important to know that everything is packed correctly! 👀💊
Perched in our newly renovated pharmacy, Tyler kept a close eye on the team and seemed very pleased with their work. We can't say whether he was checking the labels or just looking for snacks, but either way, he took his role very seriously.

This sweet kitty is still on the road to recovery, with a little nose wound that’s taking some time and patience to heal, but slowly and surely making progress thanks to the care of Dr. Anushka 🐾

This giant goofy boy had Dr Cailin’s full attention today although we’re pretty sure he was far more interested in everything else other than his consult 😅
Dr Cailin is often found working with our tiniest exotic patients, from delicate birds and reptiles to all sorts of unusual creatures… but every now and then she swaps feathers and scales for a patient that weighs more than she does! 🩺

No matter the size, every patient gets the same gentle care, attention, and love even if some take up slightly more space in the consult room 💛

At Kloof Village Vet, veterinary care is about so much more than simply moving from one patient to the next.

Every animal that comes through our doors is treated with the love, gentleness, and individual attention they deserve 🩺💛

This quiet little moment after surgery says it all. Dr Anuschka cuddling one of her brave patients fresh out of theatre, making sure comfort and compassion come just as naturally as the medical care itself.
Because to us, they are never “just another patient.” They are family, and we care for them as if they were our own 🐾

Brave little Brody stole hearts and shoulders today 🐶

This gorgeous pup came in for his dental today and behaved like an absolute champion from start to finish. Between all the brave moments were plenty of cuddles, comfort, and quality shoulder time with Sister Paula 🩺✨
Safe to say Brody made himself very comfortable at the clinic and we were more than happy to spoil him with all the love he deserved!

Meet Eli🦜✨
When Eli first presented to us, he had severe bilateral limb deformities, and we honestly didn’t know if he would ever be able to stand normally. After a major orthopedic surgery to straighten both legs, weeks in splints, countless bandage changes, check-ups, and so much dedication from our team, this brave African Grey has completely transformed.

Seeing Eli now, fully grown and standing proudly on Sister Marliaan's shoulder is something incredibly special. These are the cases that remind us why we do what we do. The long hours, the careful planning, the patience, and the teamwork were all worth it for moments like this.
We are so proud of how far Eli has come, and so grateful to have been part of his journey. 🩶

Behind the scenes, Monique is the one who keeps everything running smoothly ✨ From making sure our shelves are stocked and supplies are always ready, to handling the endless behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the clinic functioning day after day, she does it all with such dedication and care 🐾📦💙 So much of what happens at the clinic is possible because of her hard work, often going far beyond what her hours demand.

Such a Tiny tortoise with big appetite 🐢🍎
This adorable little rescue from CROW clearly thinks apple time is the best time! Watching these precious creatures get a second chance is something truly special. 💚
