🐾 World Rabies Day is coming up! 🐾

Each year, we ask our wonderful KVV community to make a small donation of just R20 to help us make a difference. ❤️

Every cent donated goes towards purchasing rabies vaccinations, needles and syringes, which we then donate to a local shelter to help vaccinate dogs in surrounding communities where these vaccinations are needed most.

Rabies prevention starts with vaccination, and together, even a small contribution can help protect animals, people and communities. 🐶💉

If you would like to donate, simply pop into the clinic and speak to one of our receptionists. R20 can help make a difference!

Join us this World Rabies Day and help us protect more paws, more people and more communities. 🧡🐾

Did you know that every Tuesday at Kloof Village Vet, we take 30 minutes out of our busy day to come together as a team? 💚

It’s a chance for everyone who is available to sit down, catch up and talk about what we can do better for our patients, our clients and for each other. 🐾

We also take the time to share the good moments from the week before, celebrate the wins and recognise the little things that make our team so special. ✨

Running a busy veterinary practice is a team effort, and we believe that taking time to communicate, learn and support one another helps us provide the very best care we can.

It’s safe to say we wouldn’t be the same without you! From being a brilliant vet to caring for both your exotic and small animal patients, your clients and their pets are incredibly lucky to have you and more importantly we are so grateful to have you as part of our Kloof Village Vet Family.

Blue has officially decided that Sr Natasha’s head is the best seat in the house. 😂🦜💙

This beautiful macaw came in for a visit and apparently decided that she had found her new favourite perch! She made herself so comfortable that, despite our best efforts, the only person who could convince her to move was her owner. 😂

We absolutely love working with our feathered patients and clearly, Blue has decided that our nurses make excellent climbing furniture! 💙🦜

Sometimes being a nurse is less about examining your patient and more about accepting that you have been chosen as a perch. 😂❤️

Saartjie, this adorable Labrador puppy, had a bit of an unfortunate adventure and ended up with a broken leg! 🐾💔

Our team stabilised her, before referring her on for specialist surgery. Of course, she couldn’t leave without a little extra TLC. Dr Anuschka made sure there were plenty of cuddles, while Sr Natasha left Saartjie a very special get-well message on her bandage. ❤️

We’re sending lots of love and wishing this brave little girl a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery! Get well soon, Saartjie! 🐶💕

Some mornings, being a puppy patient is just too much… especially when you have to sit in a cage! 🐶😂

This adorable little visitor quickly made it clear that cages were not on the agenda, so instead spent most of the morning making the rounds and finding a comfortable lap to cuddle up on. ❤️

Dr O, and pretty much everyone else got their fair share of puppy cuddles! 🥰🐾 We think it's safe to say this little one was very happy with the alternative arrangement.
