Kempton Park SPCA Our objective is to serve and protect ALL animals, to uplift their welfare and ensure their protection.

We operate on a national basis with our dedicated Inspector and field Officer, who are specialists in their fields. We work tirelessly to protect animals from neglect and abuse and enforce the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962 when deliberate cruelty takes place. The lives of thousands of animals are improved because of our passion, our intervention, and our commitment. We have a wonderful adoptio

n program and look for the best forever homes for the animals that come into our care. Should you be interested to adopt please have a look at our adoption album, come through to the SPCA to meet the animal and then complete the documents. Take note that our kennels close half hour before the office closes, ie 15H30 during the week and 11H30 on Saturdays.

💙🐾 A Little Wish for Our Hardworking Team 🐾💙

Our staff spend their days caring for animals, cleaning kennels, assisting the public, and doing everything they can to make sure the animals at Kempton Park SPCA receive the love and care they deserve.

What many people don't realise is that our team doesn't currently have a proper lunch area where they can step away from the hustle and bustle for a few minutes and enjoy a cup of coffee or a quick snack.

We would love to create a small, peaceful corner for them, and we're appealing to our wonderful community for the donation of a picnic bench. It certainly doesn't have to be brand new — a good second-hand bench would be absolutely perfect and deeply appreciated. 💛

Sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference.

As always, we are incredibly grateful for the kindness and support our community continues to show us. Time and time again, you remind us that we are never alone in this journey.

🐾✈️ A Long Journey with the Happiest Ending! ✈️🐾

Some stories take a little longer to write, but that just makes the ending even sweeter.

Our precious little Happy spent far too many days waiting in kennels for his forever family. After several adoption attempts that sadly didn't work out, we started to wonder when it would finally be his turn. But if there was one thing Happy never lost, it was hope. Every day he greeted visitors with that trademark smile of his, convinced that his person was out there somewhere.

And he was right.

When his new mom spotted his photo all the way from the Eastern Cape, everything fell into place. Before we knew it, plans were being made, flights were booked, and Happy was preparing for the adventure of a lifetime.

On Monday morning, Happy made his grand departure from Kempton Park, boarding his flight like the VIP we always knew he was. 🛫👑

And just look at him now! Settled in with his new mom and already making friends with his new furry siblings. The photos say more than words ever could. Seeing this little boy finally where he belongs fills our hearts with gratitude, relief, and so much joy.

To everyone who followed Happy's journey, shared his posts, enquired about him, and cheered him on from the sidelines—thank you. Your support means the world to us and to the animals we care for.

Happy, your wait is finally over. May your days be filled with soft beds, endless cuddles, new adventures, and all the love you could ever dream of.

Go live your best life, little man. You deserve every second of your happily-ever-after. ❤️🐾
